Well, the time has come for the 2nd round. If President Obama played the passive card on October 3rd, it seems pretty clear by now that tonight's performance will be completely different. Can Obama stop Romney's momentum?

I make this thread for now, hoping to know what ATS is hoping to see or maybe not see from tonight's debate and hopefully if it is still around when the Debate starts, to get everyone's impression and comment on what is happening as we watch it.

This Live Stream will Start at 8pm :

Out with the old in with the new. (which is a lot like the old.)

It should be interesting.

What is going to be really fun to watch in the safety of my secret location is the aftermath of the election. That my friend is going to be a show!

You know after Romney is elected when the riots begin in L.A., Detroit, Chicago, Oakland, St. Louis...and god knows where else.

Maybe I'm wrong we'll just have to wait and see.

Riots? That is a big word. What would be the motive for such riots if I may ask?

Really?

I've seen a few articles on-line from different news sources saying people on twitter are talking about it if Romney is elected.

I don't think there is anything organized yet but give them time. I read a couple articles this morning on Drudge Report.

It's the same old racial nonsense about the white man trying to keep the black man down but people still believe that stuff.

With the economy the way it is I don't think it'll take much to start trouble for some people. I'll see if I can find a couple links.

EDIT - So I don't know if there is anything to it but people are talking and you know rioting is like a new fad or so it seems. www.examiner.com...

Yes it will be different as the "town hall" style format.

What to watch for:

Plants in the audience from either side.
An inept moderator.

And a whole lot of hot air.

I would not be surprised to see protests but riots is an whole other thing. I doubt that citizens will swarm the streets and start to wreck havoc.

Inept moderator hahaha, this is what I always hate to see in debates. I just hope she does a decent job.

I hope you're right.

Everyone talks about how the middle east is a powder keg but I think this country is on the brink too. Even here in Phoenix there seems to be a lot of racial tension. It has been that way with the mexicans for a long time of course but something is different now and I'm just a little worried about the fallout. We'll see.....I'm sure it's nothing.

MY PREDICTION:

Tonight’s Game Plan

Tonight’s Outcome

It's Obama's race to lose....I can't wait to see the fireworks!

I predict the score will be 2-0 afterwards.

how could anyone be mind numbingly stupid enough to vote for either one ?

There has been plenty of time for y`all to stop the two of them having a chance , but its too late.

I really hope we see a debate that contains a few quick jabs and low-blows!

It was refreshing to watch Biden debate the way he did and both Romney and Obama could pull a "Biden".

So here is to a good debate!

The first question, Romney looks calm, Obama looks nervous...

Again, I support neither candidate...just an observation.

All Obama is doing so far is touting his failures as some kind of brand new "to do list"

His "acting" is horrible !!

Coke vs. Pepsi

Ron Paul is 7UP.

Screw em both.

But yeah, Romney is already calling Obama out and checking him.
