Was trolling around the interwebs today when I noticed an interesting article about east coast military bases being evacuated. I read the blurb on it, and I am not sure what to think about it.

Because at the 8 minute 30 second mark of the video below, John Moore takes a call from a caller wondering if John had received any further information about ‘anything happening on the East Coast’. John responds “well, we did get an update last night, nothing shocking news so much as confirmation of things we’re getting from other sources. Information that first of all the East Coast military bases are being evacuated under the cover of darkness in the middle of the night using secondary roads. Of course, they aren’t using the word evacuate, that’s my terminology, but they’re relocating, taking out the heavy, expensive equipment and supplies and they’re going to high ground. And, second confirmation when we wake up one morning and there’s Canadian and Mexican troops in the United States to help us in our ‘time of need’, then we’ll know that we’re real close to everything falling apart. So that’s the confirmations we got yesterday afternoon.” Further..”and they’ll be invited in by the Communist president that we’ve got…”

The source also has a 40 minute video by John Moore discussing atmospheric changes in the gulf stream, as described as erratic or slowing down and even stopping. It seems that the author of the article is trying make a connection between his intel and this video story.

I have no idea as for whether this is true or not. What do think?

The article said "Gulf Stream" not "Jet Stream". The audio on the video got very gloom and doom, dealing with crops/etc; because of "unprecidented" weather changes beccause the Gulf Stream stopped and the Jet Stream in response is acting erratic.

I don't think that either the Gulf Stream or Jet Stream can top". They can change direction and pattern, but I don't know about STOPPED. Gets into more climate change scenario.

Sounds like "gloom and doom" porn to me.

Although, we did have frost this morning. Little early for us, but not nessicarily out of the ordinary.

Anyone on the East Coast seen any military hardware moving? It's not really national guard training time (June) so large movements might be a little out of the norm? Course most of the East Coast is Air Force and Navy. The Navy can set to sea and planes leaving Air Force Bases is common. Army wise the 82nd is in North Carolina, the 3rd Infantry (Mechanized) at Ft. Stewart Georgia, and the 10th Mountain at Ft Drum, New Hork. The 82nd and 10th courld move out by transport plane. Take alot of flights and would be noticable. Moving the 3rd is more problematic because of the armor. Ought to be easy for people near the bases to notice, even at night.

The article sites, "inside sources" but didn't list any.

Canada, U.S. agree to use each other’s troops in civil emergencies

February 22, 2008

Canada and the U.S. have signed an agreement that paves the way for the militaries from either nation to send troops across each other’s borders during an emergency...

...Neither the Canadian government nor the Canadian Forces announced the new agreement, which was signed Feb. 14 in Texas.

The U.S. military’s Northern Command, however, publicized the agreement with a statement outlining how its top officer, Gen. Gene Renuart, and Canadian Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, head of Canada Command, signed the plan, which allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency...

U.S. Northern Command, Canada Command establish new bilateral Civil Assistance Plan

February 14, 2008

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — U.S. Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, and Canadian Air Force Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command, have signed a Civil Assistance Plan that allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency.

I'm not finding anything about this from a reputable source. We need some of the people here who are in the military to confirm or deny this. Anything else from ANY news organization won't be good enough.

I have heard nothing that would lead me to believe that this information is accurate.

And I would have heard something.

My nephew is in the USMC in Carolina and is still there. Ft Benning, US Army, Ga., is business as usual. Nothing happening on the East coast as far as I can tell.

I work across the Thames River from the largest submarine base in the world and there is nothing going on. The gate guards haven't even shifted over to majority armed active duty, still majority contractors. That's the telling future, the gate guards. All routine everywhere.

so someone calls a radio show, asks about troop movement and everyone assumes the caller is legit?

If I call a radio show and discuss the sudden increase in boating activity around 100 miles off the tip of montauk, can I then state that atlantis was found and, therefore, it's probably true?

I tend to not trust any of these glood and doom shows. The hosts are sketchy and that would mean that, given the need to scare their listeners, the callers could be paid performers.

'Communist' president?

I wouldn't take this story too seriously.

I've never heard anything about this before, but I find it very interesting!

The main part that concerns me is about Mexican troops being allowed in the country. I had a very vivid dream in either January or February about a tsunami in my area (I live on the Gulf coast). As me and a group of people were fleeing, we were stopped by Mexican troops. And when I saw them, I was terrified! Unfortunately, thats where the dream ended.

Sorry if this is too off topic, but that specific part gave me chills! I didnt even know we had an agreement like that with Canada. Do we really have one like that with Mexico too? O_O

I agree. However, I do not have many connections with people in the military, so I was wondering if someone on ATS could confirm or deny such remarks made by the articles author. I thought the video about the gulf stream anomalies was more interesting honestly.

John Moore is no more credible than Sorcha Fail! Jut another Doomer looking to profit from Doomers.

Here is a link to his "OMG Nibiru" show.

Ditto.
Plus contact with Camp LeJeune day before yesterday. Guess some here dont know thats on the East Coast.
SInce our base here handles ACFP along with other things... we would have known as well way before any movement would have happened.

Pope Air Force base just 14 miles south of me... Fort Bragg just on the other side... nothing happening here, they fly over my house almost daily, I would notice if something was out of the norm...

come to think about it, it’s been too quiet… maybe due to the rain and cold front moving on by…hum…

An individual could call the main desk sure, no problem, but I don't know if they would get anywhere. It would have to be someone specifically from one of these supposed bases where the movement is occurring, Besides, based upon Moore's own words, his "inside source" (if true) is likely a listener to his show and if they were someone on the base simply calling in to report activity he's seen, then that means that even those working within aren't being made aware of what is going on.

I don't know if the Gulf Stream can stop either, but I know for a fact it can be greatly curtailed. How do I know? Well, I don't take anyone's word for it, I try to research anomalies on my own.

Here are pictures of the Gulf Stream a few years ago and today:
