He did not want me to go on a website and troll. He wanted me to interview numerous people about what their perceptions of good and evil are. I presented him with the idea of creating a thread that would draw different emotions from different people and would bring out either really nice people, or really mean people. He agreed that I could do it, so I did.

I loved this thread so thank your professor from me. Its the most interesting one Ive read in a while.

I agree with you on this.

The entire concept of being a moral crusader is absurd. Living your life for philanthropic causes, going to poor countries to do missionary work, all of it is a sham. People who can afford to go to countries where they require missionaries for the most part are doing it not because it is morally correct, but because they have something that eats at them that they feel the need to cleanse themselves and make the notion that they are doing it out of the kindness of their hearts.

I agree with you on this. I also think it is stupid and foolhardy.

That said, yeah I think you are evil and wouldn't want to be around the likes of you

Man I was reading this and shouted over to my fiance some of the things you wrote lol....she was like omg sounds like you! I work as a cop with a degree who has severe health issues. I don't go on disability although I could and I find no one around me is competent...maybe 1 in 12 people I meet really know what the hell they are doing. It is like it has become "cool" to be dumb. "cool" to be lazy. I have convinced her to let us get a house in the country with solar panels and I currently order almost everything from online to include food. I hear where you are coming from. Ive lost almost all my empathy for society...I even went to a counselor just to kind of check on how I felt only to find he felt similar lol. It wont get better in our lifetime.

You don't sound particularly evil to me. Self-centered, selfish, incapable of compassion? Well yes, but that doesn't make you evil. Now if you could learn to be more tolerant, that would be an example of growth!

You should feel honored because the skies the limit, your baseline makes improvement almost simple. Good luck in your journey!

i am very sorry you feel this way. The truth is we are all evil. Each and everyone of us have the capacity to hate relentlessly and harbor anger towards others. It comes down to personal choice. You have chosen to reveal your hatred towards many, but the only thing so revealing is how much you hate yourself.

Forget forgiving others that have wronged you, forgive yourself and start living. Not easy to do but very necessary! Instead of anger I see fear and insecurity. Don't worry, we all feel fear and insecurity at times, some more than others. The choice is yours......Look up Malignant Narcissist, I think you may recognize yourself.

I started following this post pretty early, and I have to say, it continues to be hilarious, and entertaining!!

I for one feel sorry for you.

Must be a pretty hard existance carrying on all that hatred and anger. Most people say you have problems and need help, but that's only true if you think that how you are as a person isn't right.

In this case you are *seemingly* perfectly happy with being villed with vile and hatred. That's fine, I know many people who are as well. But it's a very lonely way to live your life.

Hey its funny how different people are inside and how we see and sense the world differently. The way you see the world is very different to me. To be honest I find your perception scary. Its alien to my way on interacting with the world... It does not make me any better or worse than you. Just make the best of the cards you have in life..

Really curious OP, what is your point in this thread? Are you reaching out for help, cause it sure looks like it!
If not, now that we know how you feel, what are we suppose to do with that.

If you want to hear reasons to be miserable, try my life on.....My mom is battling Leukemia, a very deadly and aggressive type. She is about to undergo a stem cell/bone marrow transplant! I am scheduled to undergo surgery to have my spinal cord decompressed, disc replaced and my neck fused in 2 weeks. Shall I go on?

I can choose to be miserable, blame God, and everyone else you can think of, or I can choose to control my thoughts evoking my feelings to change followed by my behavior changing. You will always find someone worse off than you. You say your life is wonderful and you are happy with yourself, but I am not buying that.

I will shoot straight with you. You and only you are responsible for your feelings and your behaviors in this world.
No one has the power to make you feel a thing. If you feel rage, hatred, anger or whatever, you are allowing others to control you. Being somewhat of a control freak yourself, I am sure you do not like this.....Every time you have a negative thought, someone else has one upped you.

Your very bright, young and have your whole life ahead of you. Think about your wife and change your ways. You only go around once, make it count!

If you read this yourself after some months maybe it will feel silly to yourself. And you dont seem evil or good for that matter. You seem like a pretty normal fella with maybe slight illusions of grandiosity.
