Obama appears to be passion-less about his job, about his country and about this debate. He was arrogant, refusing to look at Romney---or trying hard not to. His attitude was one that seemed above having to answer questions or even be at this debate.

Seriously, he was about to switch into street life mode...Seeing the gangster side of things would of been hilarious... "Muuuhtha sucka" Who da f**k do you think your talkin' to? I don't have to answer this crap, I'm out diz bi*ch. Peace." (Knocks down the teleprompter and exits the building with his entourage)

Great television eh?

Obama lost... Lack of sleep? Over confidence? Playing it safe? All of the above?

I would say a tie

Both gave a somewhat "strong" show but nothing to sway those still sitting on the fence.

I can't see any PASSION from Obama during this debate. He seems like he's burnt out and no longer wants to fight for our country.

When has Obama ever wanted to fight for this country? I am curious...

He has never supported American as the remaining Super Power or exeptionalism if you prefer that - ever.

this debate can be put this simple...

Obama, has the talk to talk... Just not the walk to walk...

Romney, I don't think will be any differant...

Same bark with no bite...

Either way in another 4 years we will listen to another debate in October like this....

Prob. Like this with Romney, sounding like obama, and Hillary, sounding like Romney...

I am watching my dog chase his tail....

Back to living my life, and caring about my life....

Pretty sure these people do not understand us, nor care about us by the way folks...

he is simply being clearer... addressing his points and speaking in rhythm with conviction.

Yes, Obama wanted him to be very clear in his positions. And Romney spent a lot of time defending and clarifying his position, something he hasn't done a lot lately. But every position that made a clear distinction between Obama and Romney, Romney's position hurt the middle class.

Romney can't win on his own positions, so why wouldn't Obama want Romney to go ahead and make them clear for everyone.

If you give Romney enough rope, he will hang himself. I don't think many people saw this coming though, so it will take a day or two for people to realize that what Romney just said in the debate isn't the same thing he tries to say on the campaign trail.

How was it a tie?

I'm not challenging you, just curious.

What about Obama's performance did you admire? How did he come across? What were his strong points?

The Obama mainstream cheerleaders did try to spin to lower "expectations"

Remember that?

Done with your talking points? Thought this thread was about the debate, not a GOP Talking points meeting

I have to say Romney won that debate. Obama was very weak in championing his policies, and overall record. Romney did exactly what I expected him to do. He focused on the record, and threw some curve balls in the President's direction. How can the President speak highly of never seeing unemployment below 8%, the deficit continually rising, no balanced budget, and the failed green initiatives. He could not, and that aura of confidence was waning. At least as I saw in his responses and overall appearance. President Obama did not look good up there. Bring on the next one!

All the states need to secede NOW.

So does that mean that California can secede from Federal regulations, and do whatever our state wants?
