Believe you me, the conclusion posting will give you food for thought for a long time to come. I am just finalizing the last of it now and the main hit is a maritime event of such high strangeness that I still cannot believe it was actually witnessed!!!

Why would you doubt a hoax, in this case? Would an invisible (to the naked eye) spaceman that protrudes from children's heads be more plausible? Just curious.

Thank you for posting this thread, I found The Dyatlov Pass incident post most interesting.

I read trough this article The Dyatlov Pass And found it very interesting also, It runs through the autopsy reports and states that it is very odd how the autopsy report simply stated "tongue is missing", And not any other information about how it was removed.

Is it just me with the The Solway Firth Spaceman photo that can see an elderly man with his top off and back showing towards the camera? To me it looks like the back of a head with a bald top and hair around the rest, With his arm and elbow sticking out with his hand out of sight but looks like it's on his hip?

Maybe not but thats how i first saw it until i imagined a spaceman

No it is not just you, my initial thought when I looked at the picture was that it looks like an image of someone from the back. The shoulder blades are seen and the creas at the right had side (as you look at the photo) where the arm meets the body. You would not really get a crease like that if viewed from the front with your hand on your hip like it shows here, but you would get that at the back. Yes I can see where the half bald idea comes from also, and there could even be a slight corner edge of perhaps the frame of a pair of glasses (perhaps sunglasses) on the right hand side if you think of it as a behind view.
Now, I know us Scots are famed for being pale skinned but this is pretty white looking, so I am not sure what all that is about. Can't see the guy taking a photo of his daughter with a guy standing in the background like that and ruining the shot. He would have remembered a guy being there. Also proportionally how far back would the 'spaceman' be behind the child and is that proportional to where his feet would be considering we can see the ground level. The hill does not look that steep to allow such a large amount of person to be visible behind the girl. Any photographers out there that can answer that one?

I agree, The man does look far to pale skinned, Especially in contrast to the rest of the photo And it was the elbow that first got my attention and made it look like that is the back of a person

i'm pretty sure the solway spaceman has been debunked as an illusion.if you look closely you'll see that the "spaceman" is shown from behind..it's actually a jogger going uphill behind the little girl. it just so happened to taken at the perfect second to make a strange picture.
other than that, great stuff, man. 2/3's of this stuff is new to me!

Wow. This spaceman was also seen in Austrailia during the launch of a missle and the launch was cancelled because of this siting.

AND the parts of this missle were made where the photo of the girl was taken!

S&F! Great stuff here OP. Thanks for keeping me entertained here for a few hours. As others have mentioned it is a good break from the political propaganda masquerading as news.

That Poveglia looks like a prime piece of real estate. I'll bet someone does capitalize on the tragic past, acquire it for something a portion of the islands actual worth and in time make a resort that caters to International clientele. Make a ghost hunters tourist destination out - something like that.

I am going to try and find the book written about the Dyatlov Pass Incident. That was something. My guess is something top secret was taking place and government enlisted the tribesmen to make it look like a UFO or creature attack so terrible no one else would try to venture out there.

And those holes? I mean they just end?
Did you see that guy going down secured by a thin rope wrapped around a twig?
His friend was watching him go down like "I'm damn glad that's not me!" LOL
That would be the day I go down a mysterious, possibly bottomless pit without
a safety harness, a truck, wire cable and a winch or hoist.

I think that's the most plausible answer. Something like this could very easily be faked so I'm not sure why so many jump on the ghost/spirit bandwagon.

It looks like a real live person in a suit to me.
