These people are animals, they dont give a crap about their prophet. They are using it as an excuse to be violent thugs. Much like the rioters in the UK last year used the shooting of Mark Duggan as an excuse. They are getting what they wanted: a fight. Not that I entirely agree with the police's use of deadly force, but what else do they expect? There are no right sides in any of this mess, they are all as bad as each other.

Put it this way,if somebody publicly made fun of your mom, created a movie about her, made her look like a slut and a child molester how would you feel? And then you discover the people that made the film were antagonists from countries that have bombed your relatives and occupied your country, and continue to do so

Thats not the issue here though. Mohammed is not their mother, they probably are not even actually insulted. They are using it merely as an excuse to go on the rampage.

Absolutely it's the issue, they are from a VERY religious society, and your wrong by calling them "animals that don't give a crap about their prophet" shows you simply don't understand what your talking about..

Their society is religious through force. They dont really have a choice. And you dont know a clue about the nature of thugs, do you? If it was the case you are putting forth, then MILLIONS would be out protesting. But they are not, because they know its stupid. There are groups in EVERY nation, who just wait for excuses to go out on the rampage and cause trouble. These people hide behind their religion as an excuse to cause trouble. There is nothing righteous in any of this.

more like "just trolling" there is no reason to kill over a movie, its a movie. If everyone started killing because there religious group or racial group were offended everybody would be killing all the time. if they don't like the movie don't watch it, or make a movement to get it banned from your country, dont kill people. im sorry but your "perspective" is the most ignorant thing ive ever heard

How do you compare a person's mother to a prophet?? If a group of Islamic folks made fun of Jesus Christ, I wouldnt make a big deal over it, it wouldnt even bother me...

I agree with your point of view , i was born and lived in a muslim country. Westerners dont quite understand middle east and that islam there plays even bigger role and meaning in their life than for example muslims that live in Europe or US. Their whole life resolves around religion. Moreover lets face its not like US is in any way popular in middle east or africa after dropping tons of bombs, violence will always bring more violence even if its done with best intentions which is by far not the case as we all aware here. That is why people dont really get it. They dont need new iphones or 50 inch TV or any other western gadget or way of life, they live by the Koran, unless you lived there for a few years for most people it just looks absurd.

In my experience, as tempting as it is to assume all others feel, react and have the same values as myself, I find it is often misleading. Especially when it comes to people from another culture on the other side of the world.

Muslims ARE very defensive about their prophet- probably as much or more so than their own mothers.
One comparison that I have found to be pretty close is the way Americans get very defensive about their flag?
A large percentage Americans are very offended by others burning, pooping on, or otherwise defiling the American flag.

That could also be just an excuse to object and protest in various ways...... almost anything we tend to be extra defensive about could be a vehicle for subconscious or unacknowledged motivations.
That doesn't mean the emotions are any less real, or less human.
We just focus our defense on different things in different cultures.

I swear....Some people will stand here and scream false flag if Tel Aviv or Jerusalem take a nuke right on the nose.

There is healthy paranoia, there is creepy paranoia and then there is clinical illness for obsession and fixation, regardless of evidence or reality of a given situation.

The latter....strikes me as the position some are moving to in the extremes I'm seeing to excuse the animal behavior we've witnessed in the last 48 hours.

False Flag my foot. What does that term even mean?? If there is one I'd like to see dropped from the language, that's it, right there.

Yeah I am sick of people screaming "false flag" it's like the boy who cried wolf hundred times too many.

The arab spring 2.0 with protests so far in Yemen,Iraq,Egypt, and what is not in the news is Syria.

So here are my thoughts on two possible scenarios.

First one:

Iranian vevak stirring up trouble to give Iran time to finish the bomb, or delay and Isreali strike.

Second one Russia

and FSB stirring up trouble so the west will stay out of Syria.

Or Russia and Iran working in cahoots Iran gets the time needed to go nuclear, Russia keeps it's base in Syria.

Anyone blaming the West for the events of the week is playing checkers.

Doc it's Islam were talking about. They kill over cartoons like this:

If you burn 1 quran hundreds of people who had nothing to do with it round the world die. If you burn a truckload of bibles everyone cheers. It's the part of the world where you can literally be murdered for offending someone, its like....3rd grade. Eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.

The thing is though if i just sit in my living room by myself and burn a Koran no one dies, if i sit in my living room and burn a bible no one dies. if i put it on you tube or use a religious or political stage people die, its all a god damn show. If people from all places would realize this no one would die of religious belifes. The sad part is that this has been going on for at least thousands of years and we never have as a common people figured it out. The ones in charge keep us sperated and pissed off at each other to further there agenda what ever it may be.

Now that i have time.. show me where the Muslim take on this current issue has been 'stated' on ATS? that's right ...nowhere,and i'm sorry but it's not up to you to determine which is an acceptable post or not.
Don't get me wrong i think what they did and are doing is completely unacceptable but for you to accuse me of being ignorant and a troll by bringing up a relative point(which was not directed at you i might add)that can add some depth to the discussion, is totally arrogant, shows willfully ignorance and completely sidesteps my point.
It is Muslims who are revolting because there religion has been insulted, i made an attempt at answering why..to a member who thinks Muslims are quote "animals that don't give a crap about their prophet"...deny ignorance or keep head in sand?
To add some meat, here are a few events (that shouldn't be ignored) around the time of the violence that may or may not be more than coincidence..
