I can't imagine the wicked as the Bible refers to them, not becoming completely enraged to murderous heights, at the incessant rumblings and especially someone preaching love. It must drive them out of their homicidal minds.

But that never stops anyone.

I agree 100%! Though not everyone knows what LOVE really means. Many people think LOVE is just "showing affection to each other" when LOVE has more to do with RESPECT.

Those who value love also value the truth. Speaking the truth is what gets people killed.

My perspective is our world is a negative atmosphere and not conducive to love.

The people who preach love who have massive followings, and have the ability to change our world are fighting a world of adversity, not just administered by a select group....but by the negative atmosphere our world.

So many peoples consciousness is geared to the negative, because humanity is suffering from endless battles against ourselves.....if this would all stop tomarrow, we could finally start to feel liberated....those few voices making waves have started an awakening, and hopefully it will grow, but it won't be easy.

Add Gandhi to that list. He also preached non-violence which is a double whammy.

I want to share something that happened a few days ago that is relevant to your thread. I was working as a Casual Teacher at a school with Special Needs Students. There is a Student Teacher there participating as part of the training for her course.

At lunch time I noticed a head down and some tears - two others also had their heads down. I knew that two were tired and mimicking as I asked them about their academy award acceptance speech and they grinned. I sat next to the beautiful boy who was flushed in the face and shedding quiet tears.

I sat next to him and gently rubbed his back - I asked if he was hurt and he told me no and I asked if he was sick and he told me no. I stayed with him and gently asked if he was tired and wanted to go home - he nodded yes. I looked at the Student Teacher and asked her how she would manage this situation. I chatted to her and I stated that you won't find it written in any of your textbooks or see it anywhere in your university notes but sometimes - love & kindness are how you manage a situation.

The beautiful boy was tired and I showed him my care and kindness and some love - his tears eventually dried up and he was okay and managed to get through the day. When I am working with Special Needs Students I am always humbled and I know I am learning more from them than I could possibly impart to them.

Much Peace ...and much love and kindness and patience and everything else we need an abundance of... and keep it coming...forever and forever after that...

Good thread, and the OP makes a good point: what or whom are TPTB trying to silence? I would say that the reason so many profoundly wise and godly leaders have been assassinated crumbles down to - essentially - envy. We're witnessing the system of the beast destroying and counterfeiting in every way. The good news is that there is something inside all of us that TPTB can't take away. Eventually a house divided against itself cannot stand.

It can't be a thoughtcrime, because what we call "love" transcends simple thoughts and words.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

- 1 Corinthians 13:4-13

"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

-1 John 4:8

That was beautiful your words or not, thank you for posting that.

Love does, can and must survive awake, in dreams (&other) and in thoughts, all of these are tested, it's your heart that gets the ride.

Nice thread man x

Interesting,i never made such a connection[new conspiracy theory starts forming in brain]

My opinion is that they don't want love to be spread, because the so called ptb use the oldest practice in the books:"Divide and conquer".

If people start loving/tolerate each other they will form a united front against any type of oppresors and that would be a disaster for those in power.

They can control us better when we are divided.

So anyone who has a public stand and tries to "preach" love must get out of the way.

Really? You've never seen the connection?

Another missed out of the OP is Bob Marley!

But actually when you look at the World today.... these guys Lyrics and words wouldn't make sense anyway.... we don't and won't get along with everyone because people will always have their differences...

Look at those Fanatics.... there are plenty around....

I'm sure if Bob Marley was alive today he'd be like 'what the funk am i chatting about? Who are those people? etc etc...

It's in the human species' nature to fear and thus hate. It stems from the evolutionary drive to further one's own gene pool. Survival of the fittest, and all that. Hence, we find weird and wonderful rationale to kill each other: race, religion, resources... the three Rs, as it were. The irony, of course, is that this self-preservatory trait is also self-destructive. A quandary indeed.

Ergo, anyone who does manage to break the mold and stand in the way of our genetically programmed homicidal tendency will, obviously, make themselves a prime target.

It's really not that complicated. One just has to issue a glance at the animal kingdom to see myriad traits that are reflected in human society.

Jesus Christ (for those that believe)
Martin Luther King Jr.
John F. Kennedy
John Lennon

The list goes on. What is going on here? Who doesn't want us to love and why don't they want us to see what happens when we all just get along?

It's because these people actually had influence with the general population. JFK warrants a thread all on his own though, as there are other issues dealing with him, such as trying to print debt free money without the federal reserve, that got him into trouble with the PTB.

Anyway, these people had to the ability to sway large groups of people with messages that actually made sense, that at the same time threw doubt on the way we live our lives. Of course the way we live our lives today only helps the banksters, and people who pull our politicians strings.

ehhhh that's a bit of a strawman. While billions of individuals have said love is a good thing, very few actually started successful movements that challenge power and the status quo. They aren't the only 5 either, there was even multiple attempts on Buddha's life as well.

No human lives forever anyway.

There are many aspects of love, and the greatest of all is the love that you will give up your own precious life on for another or others, to prevent them from sharing the fate of death, torture, pain, suffering, etc, if one's death can alleviate that.

Better to live in the memories of those whom you had sacrificed your own life for, than your name a glouble of spittle spat upon at the mention of it, even while alive, for cowardice and apathy.

Good post OP, love is indeed the answer. I think there has clearly been an agenda against the proliferation of this idea. If this way of think was dominant in the minds of mankind then we would experience true freedom. Who exactly is responsible for it is a great question and I will probably never know in this life.
