According to this excellent book I read, "The Sacred Mushroom and The Cross" by John Allegro, Christ is actually a sacred hallucinogenic mushroom.
Incidentally, this Mushroom also grows in the tundra regions of the arctic regions.
Similar mushroom cults can be found in Siberian history.
The shaman of Siberia would ride around in a sleigh pulled by reindeer in the winter to deliver these mushrooms to the villages. The shaman would enter the houses through the large chimneys that were the only way in and out in the winter season.

Be careful. Most threads that deal with illegal, mind altering substances are 404'ed here pretty quick. You might want to U2U a MOD before posting just to make sure you're within the T & C's. Or, you can a post a question about your thread's tricky subject in the Board Business forum, to a get a MOD's attention.
Matthew 11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Perhaps Jesus consumed something magical when he went on his "vision quest" in the desert, because he DID meet the Devil!
"I met the Devil alone in the jungle… I walked right over him."
The devil laid down on the jungle trail after he used the name of Jesus.
