I think it hilarious when an "educated" and "highly intellectual" person uses the phrase "In any case".....If their article is well-written, then there would be no need to refer us back to the second or third chronological point in their discussion. Their points should be made in their thesis and reinforced throughout.

Whenever I see the phrase "In any case" it simply tells me the writer is attempting to engage in dialogue rather than informing the reader.

In any case, I will now continue to read posts and comment as I choose.

The Romans absolutely did not invent Jesus.

Jesus was invented before the foundations of the Earth were laid.

The Romans have perverted his story... But they will fall and we are witnesses.

I think what the author was trying to convey is, even though she was robbed of money, there was no food to buy, in any case.

i was on the icke forum when he presented his Horus Jesus par-ells, as fact truth, this is how it is, but after about ten minuets research, found that in reality these parallels where just prefabricated by david icke and did not exist in any historical document ,

i had seen Horus anti christ parallels

thats when i really question david icke so right on some things but then mixing truth with false hood, deception, was a big no no,

it was not appreciated on his official forum when i liked him to Judas selling Jesus out for 30 pieces of silver

Judas Icke not much has changed though now he is going for GOLD

Funny, David Icke saying Jesus never existed. I remember when he said he was Jesus. So much for his credibility.

Yep, according to Icke, he is the Son of God. So much for Rome inventing Jesus
.

Lets see some other stuff Icke says:

I wonder if he's quit taking his meds again?

According to this excellent book I read, "The Sacred Mushroom and The Cross" by John Allegro, Christ is actually a sacred hallucinogenic mushroom.
According to Allegro, the original "Christian Cult" were based on this sacred and very gnostic experience.

They were a serious deterrent to "modern society" at the time and where outcasts to the Romans.

John Allegro was tasked by the Roman Catholic Church to decipher the Dead Sea Scrolls that were found in the 1970s. This is how he obtained this information which is yet to be officially released.
According to Allegro, the entire New Testament are stories based on this ritualistic experience with the stories created being parables to the overall ritual.

Incidentally, this Mushroom also grows in the tundra regions of the arctic regions.
Similar mushroom cults can be found in Siberian history.
The shaman of Siberia would ride around in a sleigh pulled by reindeer in the winter to deliver these mushrooms to the villages. The shaman would enter the houses through the large chimneys that were the only way in and out in the winter season.

This is where we get the story of Santa Clause and the Reindeer.
Santa is also Christ and they both come from the same thing.

Ultimately this sacred mushroom was attributed to God and consuming this was to consume God.
The Lords Prayer in it's untainted original form, found in the text from the Dead Sea Scrolls, shows the text as eating the body of God, (not Christ as it was later re-written). The early Christian Cult (which is really a offshoot of Jewish Mysticism) believed in experiencing God through this sacred mushroom.

Here is an early Christian fresco showing the Garden of Eden with the original forbidden fruit.
This "tree of knowledge" supposedly opened the eyes of Adam and Eve and they suddenly realized that they were bigger than animals and they suddenly realized they were naked.
Of course this made our alien Gods that upgraded us through genetics angry. They specifically forbade them not to eat the forbidden fruit. Once they did they became "experienced" and thus marked the beginning of the end.

That's really interesting. Gave you a star for the read, you should really consider creating your own thread about this. I'm not sure if I totally buy it but interesting nonetheless.

Or, you can a post a question about your thread's tricky subject in the Board Business forum, to a get a MOD's attention.

You do realize though that many of the Siberians did not actually live in houses with chimneys?

Perhaps the source of your book should have visited the display at State Museum of Illinois

Which shaman of which group in Siberia? Was it one of these?...

The NENETS (Samoyeds, Yuraks, Nentsy) consist of people who speak the Nenet language, which belongs to the Samoyedic group of the Uralic language family. The group lives in northern Russia from the Kola Peninsula in the west to the lower Yenisei River in the east, within the Nenets, Yamal-Nenets, and Taymyr (Dolgan-Nenets) Autonomous Districts.

Or these?

The NGANASANS (Tavgi, Samoyed Tavgi) include people who speak the Nganasan language of the Samoyedic group of the Uralic language family. They inhabit the area between the Pyasina and Khatanga Rivers and the Taymyr River basin within the boundaries of the Taymyr (Dolgan-Nenets) Autonomous District.

Or was it these?

The SEL'KUPS (Ostyaks, Ostyako-Samoyeds) consist of people who speak the Sel'kup language of the Samoyedic group of the Uralic language family and inhabit the Krasnoselkup region of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District and other parts of the regions of Tyumen and Tomsk. A small group lives in the Turuhansk District of the Krasnoyarsk region.

Perhaps these?

The KHANTS (Ostyaks, Ob Ostyaks) are comprised of people who speak the Khant language of the Finno-Ugrian group of the Uralic language family and live in the regions of the Ob and Irtysh Rivers and their tributaries, within the range of the Khants-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Districts.

Or, it may have been one of these.

The MANSIS (Voguls) include people who speak the Mansi language of the Finno-Ugrian group of the Uralian language family. They inhabit the Ob River basin (along its tributary, the Northern Sos'va, and the Konda, a tributary of the Irtysh, and in the region of Beryozov) within the boundaries of the Khant-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Districts.

The list goes on, totaling 14 groups of indigenous Siberian groups. So when you say "The shaman of Siberia", please address which group and then please identify which one of them lived in houses. Yes, they did have reindeer cults, but none went down chimneys.

Shamanism in Siberia
Maybe they do now, but then they did not live in houses.

so youre saying Jesus was a magic mushroom, all kinds of theory's as we see today , keep popping up about Jesus like mush rooms, a lot of mushrooms are grown in the darkness in manure .

When you see God raising up a people nation, from Abraham,s seed , Israel, Kings like king David, wise men , like Solomon , Daniel, the prophets , the prophecies

then sending his only begotten son , the lamb of God, slain from the foundations of the world, to be the atoning sacrifice,

its all there, Jesus was crucified at Pass over ,the Pass over came from when Israel left Egypt,

and was being preformed in the temple the same time Jesus was being crucified .

its not hard to see Gods master plan of redemption, for man kind us. why all this was and is significant for each one of us.

i dont see no mush room, i see the love of God, through the Lord Jesus Christ , shinning out reaching out to us all.

the good news, the captives have been set free, to all who believe, on the one God sent.

Jesus did it through fasting...

If you did it though mind altering substances, you'll see the devil. May not be the obvious devil but can appear as the angel of light.

Why does everybody wants to do it the easy way?? Duh?? Jesus never made Christianity easy. Always the cross, always the narrow way, always have to give up something (everything!)

Perhaps Jesus consumed something magical when he went on his "vision quest" in the desert, because he DID meet the Devil!

Also, Jesus liked to drink wine. He made it clear that some people thought he liked his wine a little too much.

Matthew 11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.

19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Yeah. That's been a question I've been thinking about lately. I can go with Jesus being the "Son of Man" even the "Christ" as being the epitome of the perfection of humanity. But I do have a problem with Jesus being the actual "seed" of God, as in the "virgin birth."

If that was true, Jesus wouldn't be 100% human. If Jesus is supposed to be an example for us humans to follow, then he needs to be human, not half human.

He was human all the way for sure. He wasn't any different than us other than the knowledge he acquired while away in the East.

We can all become Christ-like and that was Jesus' message from the beginning, he was trying to spread the truth and was killed because of it. After he died the Romans got a hold of his story and message and put him on a pedestal then told others they could never reach that high and they took it hook, line, and sinker.

People still raise Jesus above themselves and tell themselves they can never achieve what he did. Doing that puts doubt in ones self and that was the purpose of religion from the beginning.

We are all sons/daughters of man/god.

There have been a lot of people who have met the Devil throughout history.

One of those was Dr. Percy Collett who worked as a missionary in the Amazon jungles of South America.

"I met the Devil alone in the jungle… I walked right over him."

The devil laid down on the jungle trail after he used the name of Jesus.
