Thanks to modern science we no longer have to rely upon genealogy records. We can use DNA to track these things. I'm just now beginning to dig for sources and links - but this is a good place to begin.

Okay I might as well throw my factoid into the mix....

This is a bizzare fact I heard. I don't know if it's true or not but it's plausable. You have a few thousand atoms of most every living historical figure as part of your genetic make up. So you have some atoms that were in hitler, alexander the great, queens kings emperors buddha mohamad etc etc. As the atoms get recirculated into the world they end up in the food chain, and back into people. I heard this from a few different sources now. But still if someone can confirm this that would be interesting.

I've done genealogy for many years now and I can guarantee they did not check all the documentation needed to prove this ancestry. Ancestry.com has a massive database but it is not all correct. I have found many errors, even errors in my tree from the trusted Mormons.

Case in point. My family was supposed to be related to Davy Crockett and his lineage is well documented on Ancestry. My gggggrandmother was a Crockett and supposedly descended from Samuel Crockett, a brother to Davey's grandfather. Dna has proved all the many Crocketts here are not related to Davy. As for my line, the Samuel Crockett was actually here before Davy's family.

I dare say we would all find ourselves in some way related to royalty if we followed all our many lines and actually checked the documentation required to prove it. In fact, many if not most of the families who came to America were of some wealth or they could not have made the trip.

As we say here on ATS, source, pics, or in this case, documentation, or it isn't so.

I have spent too much time on ancestry.com Basically, if your family has been in North America for a few hundred years you are related. Six generations, my mom and dad have a common ancestor, 7 generations and my husband and I do. And that is just direct lines. If I looked at lines of brothers/sisters of all my ancestors I am sure I am related to both my next door neighbour and a president.

So I guess I am not surprised even a little.

Yeah when I'm in my mid 40s or early 50s I'll make a run for the Presidency because clearly you cannot be president if you are not from a particular bloodline. Reminds me of the Royal families and their bloodline rulers, who knew the SAME thing is going on in America? Who knew when people learn about this they don't care?

I know what you mean but I know people (OK…one person) who have traced their genealogy and they’re not related to former Presidents. This still seems a bit strange to me. I don’t think the unproven theory of 6 degrees of separation can explain away all of these connections, that is if they’re accurate.

The bloodlines, as far as I know, first appeared in the public domain through Stan Deyo's "The Cosmic Conspiracy" first published in 1978

He goes into great detail about same and adds a Christian slant regarding a Satanic contract agreement (of sorts) between certain bloodlines and an intent to usher in the NWO via a cashless society and chipping every soul on the planet to bring about fulfillment of scripture.

A "must have" book for those wanting to tie in this subject with UFO's and secret government - many revised editions have been released since.

Frightening stuff - Stan is ex-US air force intelligence turned born again Christian but his research is faultless - I still cannot get my head around his analysis on electro-magnetic technology and he was involved in mind-control Ops back then as well.
