I find it highly unlikely. And 97% of the US have "no idea" about this theology in "their" world? Are you trying to make it some "secret sign-language-handshake-wink-wink-nudge-nudge" kind of childish code word for entry into the club? That is rather, erm, alarming.

LOL that is it.

You guys really think Obama is racist? He hates himself and the only family he knows?

Obama = half white
Obamas mom = white
Obamas maternal grandparents = white
Obamas step father = Asian
Obamas sister = half white, half asian

It's called self-loathing.....

He only represents himself as black unless talking to whites who may be swayed by his "whiteness".

You showed up right on schedule to defend him...

hmmm, racial superiority and BLT ?? who'da thunk it ??
now that's a mix i never really considered

/sarcasm off

Obama isn't spewing anything new here folks but yes, it is alarming after 3+yrs of leading this country. i do wonder why now ??

considering, last election cycle he was sooo desperate to distance but not separate himself from this radical group of biased lunatics ... why now is he embracing the same group of people ??
i don't buy the vote pandering premise ... this, is part of a much darker philosophy.

his individual salvation depends on our collective salvation, eh ??
well, he'll be waiting an awfully long time then.
i do hope he's in good health
... time hasn't been his friend thus far.

Didn't Bush say that God speaks to him, and that He told him to attack Iraq? Yes, he did.

www.guardian.co.uk...

I think that is way more radical than what you are suggesting Obama may have done.

Yeah, he loathes his family

lol? Obama has never jumped up and down and shouted "IM WHITE" to a white audience. People judge what race people are by their appearance...not their gene pool.

I agree with what you are saying, for the most part, or at least that has been my perception. The problem is that I have never experienced poverty. I have observed as an outsider. There have been times, when I had rented a cheap apartment, simply because I found it convenient.

I've spent parts of the day researching and trying to educate myself on the realities of poverty, but I've come no closer to understanding it's implications.

I've spent the better of my life not caring about people who I didn't consider my own. By my own, I mean related or a preferred associate. I don't know why I've changed, but it came fast and out of nowhere. I imagine looking back at my posts from few years ago, I seem like different person. I know I feel like a different person. I used to think that I helped others, but it was selective, and random.

I don't know what's true of those in poverty, and what are misconceptions or intentional deceptions.

OOohhhhhh!! I see! You're trying to make this about race!!!

Wait, what? Obama goes to a racist church for 20 years and you blame THIS GUY for making it about race? If Bush went to a racist church and people exposed it, they would be the ones making it about race?

I just think that linking what Obama said in terms of being a world leader...to what some preacher said in some church (whether Obama went there or not)...is a bit of a stretch. But maybe I'm missing a huge piece of it...and need to do more homework.

The OP didn't say anything about a church; nor did it say anything about "collective" being "a specific and exclusive congregation of people". I interpreted it to mean the human race........and as the POTUS, he does have a lot on his plate, not just a few church-going folks.

I took the statement attributed to Obama to mean he feels responsible for preventing the destruction of the world; and he is one of those whose directives will/could/may lead to total destruction.

*shrug*

Why does "salvation" have to mean "religious salvation"? If I am drowning and someone dives in to save me and a number of other people, they will either succeed, or we will all perish. Salvation. Not necessarily a religous term.

Okay, here's the thing I'm seeing:
The guy who refused to let Sean H speak was being a jackass, and pushing his own agenda insisting it was about "race" and the Black Liberation thing. He refused to let Sean even complete a sentence. How rude. The only reason to talk over another person is because you refuse to hear them. Fail.

Farrakhan spoke of the Black Messiah being the catalyst for UNIVERSAL salvation. Not "members of our faith".

So, I still don't see how Obama is supposedly being selective and exclusive toward Islam or Blacks if he is, in fact, interested in bringing about world peace. It's the people trying to connect these random dots that are stretching things. IMO.

I went to church for the first 17 years of my life. Now I have nothing to do with it. This seems just like really grasping at straws to try to decry the man in the eleventh hour. I'm not saying he's a hero, I don't think he is. But this is a smear campaign, and even if it's accurate, it's being presented in such as way that it seems contrived and lame.

No, he DID go there for 20 years. He called Wright his "mentor". Wright married him and Michelle in that church. Stop trying to re-write history or downplay Obama's involvement in a racist church.

But maybe I'm missing a huge piece of it...and need to do more homework.

CLEARLY.

Do a google search for "salvation" and see how many non religious references you find.

No, I'm sure you would have defended Bush he had declared that black people are "typically" racist.

What is the implication of Obama attending a church that some view as racist? Has he called for segregation? Has he called for special IQ tests for voting that certain races wouldn't easily pass due to lack of knowledge of the material? Has he called mixed marriage a crime according to the Bible? Has the White House installed separate water fountains for different races? Are certain races required to enter through the back door of he White House?

HE and his media have been dividing people along racial lines, inciting racial hatred and racially fear mongering about those scary white people ever since he took office. Are you really going to play dumb? Do I have to post a few dozen media clips?

There was a quote on weekly world news that said Michelle stated Obama was the messiah. Well, that really isn't a good source of truth. I said this before in another thread. If Obama is Jesus reincarnated (spelling? ), then we are all going to hell.

first of all how is "working together" and "communal soul salvation" even close to being the same thing?

secondly- human nature is the reason we can't work together. at some point someone will be looking out for themselves or their kind- i guess Obama was doing something about scholarships for blacks only at some point....?

i reiterate me earlier rhetorical question of: who is to say what the communal goal is? if you say space travel I say "nay", if I say towns that grow their own food, the FDA and Monsanto say "nay".

my biggest problem is that converting people and "saving" people is a close-minded activity that doesn't allow for the myriad of differences here on the earth. I'd rather not see the UN control the world and have a one-world government/religion (ancient Egypt). not my style, sorry folks.

Obama never was a christian to begin with, he's an Illuminati/Brotherhood of the Snake middleman. What he's actually saying in the video is the b.s. the UN has been spouting for decades which is New Age neo- platonism/humanism.
