i think he is faking it. The guy is evil. he knows he is going to have to go to trial so if he acts like he's crazy maybe he hopes it will play to his advantage. i dont feel sorry for him one bit. i say we release him and let him walk the streets of the U.S.A. he wouldn't last five minutes before people started kicking the living S*** out of him.

Can you imagine what kind of torture devices he had in the basement of his palaces and the sick twisted individuals he employed to carry out every form of mutilation? Hell Sadaam was an assassin before he took the throne.

Anyone remmber Andy McNab the SAS commander who was held in Iraq for 6 months. They smashed out all his teeth took hot spoons to his arse and legs and beat him like a dog. I'm shocked he actually survived the ordeal. They actually brought the father of a son the SAS had killed into the cell with McNab but the oldman just didn't have it in him to do anything. There was several SAS captured and Sadaam never personally tortured or saw to them.

Certainly he's a human being. A human being that is not worthy of life. A decent person shoudn't never have a speck of sympathy for Saddam! I'm in total shock and bewilderment!

So, explain to me how our system is much different. If you defy the gov. here, they ruin your life, and sometimes even take it from you. The only difference is the severity of punishment, apparently. Not too many years ago, we were doing some very cruel and unusual punishments, also. The middle east is just where we were, back during the Salem Witch Hunts and sh*t. We, of all people, should understand how they operate. We labeled people savages and killed them just because they didn't speak the same language, or they wore funny clothes. In fact, I doubt many people have committed such atrocities as the "white man" has committed. We had slaves we treated like animals. It wasn't even considered killing a human to kill a slave.

Right now, we're at war, which gives us justification to kill many innocent people. Saddam was at war, which gave him justification to kill many innocent people. We have our reasons for killing, just as Saddam had his reasons for killing. I really don't see much difference. Saddam may have been ruthless, but so are our politicians and law enforcement agencies. The only difference is, we try to make ourselves seem more civilized, even though we really aren't. It's sort of a pretentious existence, IMO. There are certain kinds of people here who would love to kill and/or torture certain people. Most of them are in law enforcement or politics.

Look at some of the horrid things we used to do, and sometimes to innocent people.

At the courts discretion blasphemers could be whipped, put in the pillory, have his tongue bored out with a hot iron or be forced to stand in the gallows with a rope tied around his neck. "Blasphemers might deny God or the holy Trinity, declare that there are more than one God, or worship another god or goddess.

This is just a few of the horrible punishments we once used. There were almost as many methods as a sick mind could come up with. Most people were punished harshly for mere defiance of popular belief.

Not much has changed, really. We only pretend we're not cruel people, now. But the first time someone gets mad, or disagrees with someone's ideology, what do they want to do? Nuke 'em all!!! Kill kill kill!!! Torture them!!! We live such a fake humanity.

Well, regardless of how bad someone is, they are still human, in the end. I'm not saying he was a saint, I'm just saying that insane or sane, evil or good, human is human. Why do we hunger so savagely over seeing him die? Because we've lost loved ones? I'm sure any terrorist can relate to that too.

The comparative photos of the real Saddam with a set of gleaming white gnashers compared with the snaggle-toothed MK who appeared in the US controlled court is definite enough proof for those with eyes to see

I actually believe that he is losing his mind, a man that held power for so long and now he has been reduced to a petty criminal, yes he is losing his mind.

Now as to what bush is waiting for, in relation to him, I guess that not having bin-laden to show for Saddam the �monkey� has to do for now.

The circus parade will begin soon enough after the "Legal" elections in Iraq will be "executed" in January and a "friendly to US" government will be elected.
