I imagine the depiction of Muhammad would be topical right now. Other silly ideas: 

*Islam promotes violence. 

*The government should regulate our diets/cut off health care from those who are irresponsible.

Oops didn't mean to leave the 'fur' topic in there.

I quite like the communicating with aliens one, although my side would be that it's quite responsible to try and communicate.

Heff, it was a pleasure debating you. You have done exceptionally well !

This experience, for me, has pushed boundaries. Believing that we have a soul, believing that O.B.Es, much like N.D.Es are metaphysical or at the very least esoteric, and having to research to find other possible alternative solutions was a real challenge. I am a little surprised to see where science is at and it kinda shook my beliefs. How I wish that in this particular case, we had more than 3 posts...

Hi guys.
I've been done with some yukky bug and haven't even been able to get my rebuttal finished in my debate with Druid. Been mostly in bed so I could get over it.

But I'll catch up today, I promise.

Done all my responses today.

Sorry I haven't been around in the last 48, had a short hospital visit adventure.


Side note: keep in mind am not in America, so often when persons send me messages I'm either asleep or at work!

Did you all have as much trouble coming up with a topic to debate as I am?

We're trying to avoid politics, and possibly social issues.

Even the pre-made lists I found on Google didn't seem to offer much beyond that arena.

I'm starting to think I have the creativity of a shoe-box! Yipes.

I will take the "pro" position, and have my opening statement mostly done (it'll go up in "Rants" if no one is game, lol)

Myself and mr-lizard look like we're doing: 'Trying to communicate with distant aliens is irresponsible.'

I'll be taking the pro of that statement if it gets approved. (I really like losing!)
