I think the Hurricane may have delayed some people's travel plans. As far as republican support for Romney, last polling I saw had him registering roughly 93%.

NO! The title is "2012 Republican National Convention Discussion", which means the fraudulent Republican party is fair game. Don't like it, then you leave.

This is a corrupt party and the fraud is evident to anyone with two working brain cells. At least my state, Nevada, didn't cave. Little consolation for me but I'll take it.

Your guy is winning by changing the rules and cheating. You should be ashamed. Go ahead and gloat, I care not, but don't tell me to shut up.

what rules have been changed and how are they "cheating?" The system is flawed all over, yes, but how can you say "your guy is winning by changing the rules and cheating?" That just doesn't make any sense unless you back it up with some facts, and if so, then your statement is valid. If not, you are just making stuff up, and that should make YOU ashamed.

Guess what.. Romney will NEVER repeal Obamacare.
You see.. sometimes when little big men want to become big big men, they lie to little little men.
Then they laugh about it later.

Guys,

Coming from the UK...maybe I'm out of the loop on the intricacies of your healthcare system...but for the most part i get it.

As it stood before... if you got sick there were 3 scenarios right?

a) You got sick and your insurance paid for it?

b) You got sick but you had a pre existing condition so therefore the insurance doesnt pay out...and you have to find the money yourself ($$$$$ thousands)

c) you get sick and the insurance company finds a loop hole and doesnt pay out...ends up costing you $$$$$$ thousands.

OR

Under "Obama"care

if you have insurance great... your IN....if you have existing pre conditions....YOUR IN.... Basically you pay a monthly fee (tax) and you get healthcare provided and paid for???? am i correct here?

What's the problem here...if you pay a % of your income every month in federal taxes....Then why in the hell wouldn't you want the government to pay for it and save you selling your home because you got sick???

In the UK we have the NHS...now it is not a perfect system....and we complain....but looking in from the outside...it is miles ahead of the system in US.

Everybody pays a fair proportionate amount and everyone gets treated.

i don't understand anyones logic, with not wanting this and demanding that it be repealed.

Please educate me, if I'm totally off the mark with my comments?

Bloody hell, either you are living in a cave or are having trouble denying ignorance. Do a simple search of ATS and you will find hundreds of threads detailing the fraud the Republican party has committed during this years primaries and caucuses. Watch Ben Swann's videos detailing exactly how they denied Ron Paul delegates.

Making things up, sheesh.

I'm not talking polls. I'm talking - - talking to people.

Some don't want to vote for Obama - - but they don't want Romney either. I've never heard so many people say they have no interest in voting for anyone.

LOL yeah I'm the only one bringing up the race card, really? If you can't see the doublestandards then wow, don't even bother injecting yourself into the conversation.

Remember, only Democrats are allowed to bring up the race card. (expect to hear more of this as the election grows closer)

President Mitt Romney will issue waivers to ALL 50 states.

Then the liberals will throw their hands in the air and vote to Repeal & Replace

ObamaCare with an alternative that includes tort reform.

Waivers for what???

You see...when you fall for rhetoric, you repeat it without knowing any details or specifics...and then you look like you dont' know what you are talking about.

Has Mitt Romney been officially nominated as the candidate now ????

Yes, of course he has.

The convention is just a formality.

You can watch the highlights here:

- Great Start ! -

Wait...are you actually happy he got it?

Well, reality is kinda cool.

Ron Paul becomes President of the United States only in Neverneverland with Peter Pan.

----------

President Mitt Romney and VP Paul Ryan are on their way to Washington DC.

It is what it is.

Grab onto reality and move forward.

Our future is very bright. BTW, we are taking back the U.S. Senate also.

- Minority Leader Harry Reid - i like the sound of that.

Is that a prediction like the one where you said Palin is on the way to the White House?

Conservatives racist? Why did i see black speakers last night?

Oh, um........nevermind then.

I don't put any weight in talk. I put weight in action. the Right always trots out the few tokens they have. They give them a few minutes here and there, then they herd them off the stage and bring on the primetimers and people of power and they are all white. But if you want the truth, just look around the hall. It is mostly lily white. I've lived most of my life in the South and traveled to every nook and cranny of it. Anyone who says racism is not part and parcel of a significant percentage of Republican membership is either blind, ignorant or intellectually dishonest. Does this mean all in the Right are racists? No, but who honestly doubts the veracity of the below:

Republicans are not all racists.
But the vast majority of racists today vote Republican.

By the way, you can replace the word "racists" with homophobes and the result is the same. Anyone doubt that either? In other words, the Right has the greatest proclivity to reject those not like them.

No, the Kathleen Sebelius is the current Health and Human Services director.

According to the ObamaCare bill, the director of HHS can issue waivers to

whoever they want to. Obama handed them out to his union buddies.

President Mitt Romney will hand out waivers to - everybody -.

ObamaCare then apply to - nobody-.

Oh....THOSE waivers...gotcha.

So all 50 States will be able to continue to provide mini-med health plans to their employees up until 2014...awesome.

I think....you are mis-informed.
