One thing I did find odd was that I was watching the coverage on Fox News earlier, they have their desk right in the convention hall. And when they were playing the national anthem...the anchors didn't stop broadcasting or talking...they just kept talking over the national anthem. You could see people in the crowd turning and looking at them like "What the hell?". I just found it odd that they seem to be so patriotic on Fox News and they would just talk right over the National Anthem.

So far, that is the only interesting tidbit I've noticed.

Faux News has done more harm to this country than any other entity has done in history. They have shilled for the FASCIST/SOCIALIST/TOTALITARIAN leadership in this country. Murdoch and his cronies deserve a special place in hell. It should not surprise you to see their anchors stomping on anything promoting the US.

As expected... I see no coverage of the DNC. Fitting for a site full of leftists. I would be more worried with what Obama would do with unchecked power going into another term. Just saying..

I don't think a two party system is the problem. I think the problem is that we have a one party system that represents our gov't. The special interest groups and lobbyist who represent a few bankers and investors control both parties.

If we had a two party system then we would see the republicans actually down sizing gov't and acting like republicans. Instead both Republicans and Democrats are for bigger gov't .

Why?: Because If the investors/bankers own the lobbying industry and the lobbying industry controls our gov't and if our gov't controls our laws/regulations and economy, then why wouldn't they? In essence by controlling our gov't and having a bigger gov't they control more parts of the consumers life and the market.

What investor wouldn't want to control their consumers , the market, and legally take money from the consumers who have it in order to to buy their products for the consumers who don' have the money.

It's not racist. It's true. Democrats buy votes with entitlements. And then they make entitlements a way of life. People become dependent upon the government. they then continue to vote democrat in order to continue their dependency. Black or white. creating dependency upon the gov't = voting democrat.

Claiming minorities vote Democrat because they get free stuff instead of them making an informed decision...yes...that is racist.

And no...your GOP talking point is not "true"...there is no "true" in political OPINION.

I'm in the UK so was just curious to see if the floor has nominated him and their hasn't been some sort of upset from delegates.

Lets face it, the whole thing is a propaganda show of strength... and if their is dissension in the GOP then the democrats will lap that up.

The USA is not a democracy, we are a Republic. With that said, the problem I have with the 2 party system is that it can only be a 2 party system. The libertarian or green party isn't represented. I think that is the real problem that we are often limited (by design) on our choice.

Still, I'd like to hear your thoughts on what could replace the current traditional party system. If you're going to call for change you should atleast expand on how it could be changed.

You make a mistake thinking that we are bound to a two party system. This isn't true there are other parties, they just don't have the financing to be major players on the political scene. The only thing that really has to be done to spur the growth and viability of the smaller parties is to remove privately funded campaigns, and make them publicly funded ones.

No but I can almost gurantee that a large majority of minorities vote Democrat simply because Obama is a black man. Is that racist? Is it racist for Democrats to call anyone that criticises Obama racist? Is it racist for the New Black Panthers to threaten white voters with a billy club while the DOJ does absolutely nothing about it? Is that racism? Is it sexist for Sandra Fluke, a woman who has never done a single thing in here life but be a political cheerleader, to be at the DNC demanding women be given hand outs because "it's their right"? I'm curious, after we pay for every woman's right to condoms, does that extend to abortions too? Should we be paying reparations too?

Honestly.

I watched the whole thing, I watched the RNC corruption seethe up to the very top, visible for all to see. Usually they hide that type of thing, but this time it was BLATANT.

Dog-and-pony show, indeed.


Mitt Romney is a criminal, this much is certain. So is Obama, he has more treasonous acts under his belt than Romney but... let's give Romney a chance I'm sure he'll catch up.

Meanwhile, I'm having difficulty seeing through the transparency of government promised by Obama. Anybody else?
