Could this activity have something to do with the blue moon in a couple of days?

Well a Blue Moon is nothing more then a full moon, and we have a full moon every month so i doubt it.

Could you explain why it appears blue? And anythings possible

....um, it doesn't appear blue. It's just a phrase.

A few weeks ago there was a string of storms coming from the southwest and leading all the way to the north east of the US. I looked at the weather map and it made the US look as though it were split in two. I thought to myself, this almost looks like an omen... The US divided? Division among Americans is pretty heated these days. We've got Occupy and Tea Party movements, Judges in Texas ready to pick up arms, "domestic terror" groups plotting to overthrow the government and shootings on a daily basis. All this just points right to a thoroughly divided American population. The end of America as we know it? The end of the world as we know it?

The problem is that, yes God could very well be telling them something. But just what?

Got a potential hurricane playing plinko with the coast again, Right before and at the time of the Decadence Festival...yet again. Here

So, yet again, I'm expecting to hear people state that the hurricane's gunning for New Orleans, because of the DF.

OR:
Maybe God just doesn't want me to have an ice cream cake for my birthday.

Point:
If there is a message, it's not going to be an easy one to figure out, or it might not be simple problem.

Late response:

You're right----no harm in exploring theories, though..................................right?

This is somewhat what this site is all about, ultimately, isn't it?

The energy is new since it has not vibrated this way on the planet before; where it comes from is the essence of existence itself, and the necessity to have the intense vibration present in the process of conscience-development...my guess.

Being prepared never hurts. If you have supplies and have to spend money rotating them, and never have to use them, good for you. Don't be upset about it.
Also, dont live in fear. Knowing/thinking something could happen at any moment, dont let it paralyze you. Let it motivate you to have a plan and emergency supplies, and to live your life to the fullest.
Yeah, what if you go out to live it up and something does happen while you are away from your home/cache? Oh well. Better than hiding inside all your life, right? That is my advice, and I am sure, many others. Go and live, people. Camping/backpacking is fun as hell, and you can practice all kinds of techniques and skills.

Good advice.

Indeed.

We need something like this at the moment.

I just thought it was the PTB/Illuminati creating havoc for their own purposes.

So it is New Age-inspired?

Who'd thunk it.......................................................................LOL.

Anyway............................................your guess is as good as mine, ultimately.

Who knows?

Yes open minds are good :-)

there are other thoughts where the name came from there.

The earliest recorded English usage of the term "blue moon" was in a 1524 pamphlet violently attacking the English clergy,[4] entitled "Rede Me and Be Not Wrothe" ("Read me and be not angry"; or possibly "Counsel Me and Be Not Angry"[5]): "If they say the moon is belewe / We must believe that it is true" [If they say the moon is blue, we must believe that it is true].

The most literal meaning of blue moon is when the moon (not necessarily a full moon) appears to a casual observer to be unusually bluish, which is a rare event. The effect can be caused by smoke or dust particles in the atmosphere, as has happened after forest fires in Sweden and Canada in 1950 and 1951

You are correct, good Sir or Madam. I think we are seeing at an increasing rate all sorts of natural disasters. I think it is complacent of people to not recognize this and to assume that things have always been this way. 2012 doomsday or not, something is going on. Good post.

Oh come on.
It's not like any of this was predicted or anything like that.

I find that history is an excellent teacher and have been seeing the Roman parallels for quite some time now. As I understand it many Romans actually welcomed invading barbarians during the fall of Rome. Truthfully there has not been one nation that has ever withstood the test of time. They all fall sooner or later, just a matter of when and how.

As Char-Lee said, there are times when the moon appears to have more of a blue tint than usual; when the atmosphere is full o certain particles following an event such as a volcanic eruption. But those instances aren't related to the actual "blue moon," which just refers to (i believe) the third full moon in a season.
Common mistake, no worries.

ummm. maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought a 'blue moon' was when a full moon occurs twice in 1 month, which doesn't happen very often.
hence, the phrase 'once in a blue moon'
