came across this article and remebered a post from the aussie bloke forum in the post was an link to an article about naval ships being deployed out to sea on training mission. Now I can see why they were deployed and the need for the aussie bloke disinfo.

tbrnews.com

We are about to embark on another war! Yes, it has been decided and carefully planned. Who are we going to war with? Iran

The U.S. has no troops available for an Iranian adventure and the Israelis would rather not lose any warm bodies soit has been firmly decided that both Israel and the U.S. will launch a surprise attack against 1., Iranian missile sites, 2. Iranian nuclear facilities and 3. the leadership of Iran located in and around Tehran. How will this be done? By aircraft attack using U.S. developed smart bombs and the so-called bunker-buster bombs designed to destroy underground reinforced concrete facilities .We just sent these to Israel. Because of the political ramifications, the Israelis will conduct the main strikes, supported by U.S. aircraft as needed. The aim will be to wipe out any vestige of nuclear weaponry, its delivery system and all the Iranian leaders capable of starting any attacks on Israel (mostly Tel Avivtoo many fellow Muslims in Jerusalem.) Since it would be a problem for Israeli Air Force units to fly round trip from Israel, the solution will be to launch these attacks from U.S. aircraft carriers located in the Persian Gulf area.

Iran is the next biggest danger to our freedom. It is a state sponsor of terrorism, an Islamo-fascist enclave and seeks nuclear proliferation.

I truly hope the forces of civilisation stop it soon.

No doubt France is in there doing business at this very moment

You know what?
Not only is this highly unlikely to happen, its:
unsubstantiated,
unconfirmed,
unproven,
unsupported,
not proven,
uncorroborated,
unverified,
hearsay,
factless,
idle talk
unfounded information,
etc.,
etc.,
and etc.

In the applied case and reasoning that you have given:

the disinfo aussi bloke's prediction and the topic of the naval ships being deployed to sea .Now I can see why and the need for the disinfo.

I'm sorry to say that your 'math' is off, substantially.
This 'new' assertion will undoubtedly be proven as wrong as the Aussie Bloke and Naval Ships Hoax's and their respective quantities of disinformation....

Iran has to be attacked. They are supplying the weaponry and suicide bombers in Iraq. The only way to contain the border is by assaulting it. That means anti aircraft batteries must be taken out for assaults. Iran is going to focus on the nuke. It's their only trump to stop from becoming another Iraq. They will also seek to make damn sure we have terrorism in our borders. They sponsor and fund it in Israel and once we operate inside their borders they will sponsor for us. The best thing the U.S can do right now is close borders to any immigrants of middle eastern nature.

The state department has already said Iran IS the largest sponsor of terrorism in 2003. They just didn't mention the fact because of operations In Iraq. I understand the Bush administrations civilian war policy of 'extending the perimeter of terrorism away from the U.S,' but sadly they are only bringing it closer. Commecial advertising of what we do to iraq and iran will only strengthen recruiting. The pool to draw from is limitless. Secret assaults could have only been done by SF operations - it's too late for that now.

You stated at the end of your professional news report, LOL, that,
"If Iran gets wind of this"????
What do you think you have just done by posting this, IF there was
an ounce of truth behind it? You have clearly posted this for ALL persons
to read, including the Iranians. Do you think there aren't Iranians
reading these forums? Do you think they are blind? WOW!

Thats why I posted this for all the people to read, yes even the iranians
I wanted to see if others had any info to support or discredit this

BTW- I did not write this I copied and pasted it from the link (so my math is not off)

I know aussie bloke was a hoax
while reading that post there was a link the showed navy ships were being deployed out to sea. I dont remeber that part being a hoax.
I 'm sorry I should of made no reference of aussie bloke hoax as now I see
some will not take this seriously just because of that

to those that think this won't happen ,show me evidence as to why not just an opinion,
as for me its not a question of if only when
Bush already stated iran in the axis of evil
I could see this happen before the election since bush did not do well in both debates and almost definatly if he losses the last debate
as it is now a fact WMD was a lie
Bush would like nothing more to tell the american people how he just won a major victory in the war on terror (his only platform "fear")

Why in the world would the US want anything more to do with war,
specifically, ANOTHER war, regardless if there is an election coming up
or not? Aren't our troops stretched tighter than a knats heinie over a
rain barrel? If you think that most of the world hates us now, unleash
a few boom booms over Iran and watch the brown stuff hit the fan.
We haven't even figured out an exit plan for Iraq yet. And if anyone
thinks they can just drop a few bombs and call it good in Iran without
actually sending in at least SOME troops, then I say they are all wrong.
What a pathetic planet we all live on, without any exit plan to another
planet to get the hell out of here. War, War, War! Yeah, I know that's
how it is on this spinning rock, but what a terrible way to have to live.

I do not think there is ANY chance of this happening. I do not think that this scenario would make Bush MORE likely to be elected, if anything, it would make him LESS likely to be elected. People are angry that we 'lost focus' on UBL and went into Iraq. I highly doubt that Bush would be party to Israel attacking Iran before the election knowing full well that he would be once again accused of not finishing one job before going ahead and starting another. Even if we are just in a supporting role I do not think there is ANY way Bush would risk the election.

IF this IS going to happen, it will not happen until after Bush is elected into office (not even sure that will happen) and after Kerry is finished with the legalities of counting and recounting and recounting the votes. Once Bush is re-elected and any choas that mimics 2000 is over and done with, then perhaps something similar to this COULD happen.

I agree, something like this could certainly happen AFTER the election. To do so before the election would be political suicide. With the recent news of a massive political (VP/Parliament) resignation in Iran, it's absolutely plausible that the US will make a move on the Islamic government of Iran within the next year or so. A substantial portion of the Iranian public have made it all too clear that they are ready for some serious reform. Like it or not, that's probably going to require at least a little help from the West.

Oh well, Iran wouldnt be as much of a threat if we never attacked Iraq in the first place.

They are only a threat because we made them so.

Iran hated Iraq, they loved it when we kept Iraq on a tight leash with no fly zones and embargos. Now weve physically gone in and taken over the place on not one but TWO false precepts : WMD's and Blin Laden's connection with Saddam, we've now created our own quandery over Iran because they feel threatened by the US which they see as an all conquering force who's eye will turn to Iran once Iraq is finished with.

Yes Iran is an unstable place to have / own nukes but our mindless intervention from Bush 'n' Blair has acellerated Iran's pursuit of them.

If conflict does ensue then its' parcially Bush nas Blair's blame for getting us into this bloody mess on the backs of utter lies.

shadowmirror,

The news outlet that the oringinal article came from is tbrnews.org, right?

Well FYI: tbrnews is the "news outlet" for The Barnes Review

The Barnes review is a revisionist history magazine the features such enlightening articles as "Adolf Hitler: An Overlooked Candidate for the Nobel Prize" and "The First Holocaust: Jewish Fund Raising Campaigns With Holocaust Claims During And After World War One"

Now, considering TBR's credibility, or lack thereof, one should be wary of taking ANY of their articles at face value, and especially should not post them to back up a claim for a "need for disinfo".

That said, what to do about Iran IS a legitimate question. However, don't you think that the supposed ATS motto of Denying Ignorance would be better served by a honest debate about the facts of the situation, rather than the spouting of unsubstantiated rumors from a racist web site?

What kind of nicompoop crap is this?

In no way is this true. How? No. 1 Isreali AC can not opperate from US carriers.

No. 2 - The war in Iran is an internal one, and it has already started. We will rattle sabers etc and they will either back down or the people themselves will take care of it.. They are tired of the Mullah's crap.

This is so funny.

But things will heat up directly after the elections when Bush wins, if Kerry wins, say hi to Iranian Nuc's......of course he will send sternly worded memo's.

We will engage Iran. Those who think we won't are living in a fantasy world. Iranian clans will stop at nothing to send insurgents over the borders and the only way to curve this is by air strikes. It just won't be in the papers folks but it'll get out eventually - of course after the election or we would already be attacking. Iran is going hellbent for nukes now - we have no choice. The Bush administration forced the hand with the belief of 'shake out the rug and you can kill the cockroaches,' well that just exposes them it sure the hell don't kill em. Once an infestation takes place you can never kill them all.

Ugh I couldn't even read the whole thread, it just turned my stomach. The state of the country reminds me of the Salem witch trials, the whole comunists scare where people were blacklisted, and the cold war. These people trying to scare everyone into thinking all these countries "Are threatening our freedom" are the same ASSHOLES who told us to hide underneith a desk in case of a nuclear attack. We're so paranoid and arrogant we are going to destroy ourselves. We start becoming paranoid imperialists and wonder why terrorists want to attack us? Didn't we learn anything from Vietnam? I think the US needs to join the rest of the world. OR maybe it's time to move to another country before we kill ourselves.
