Sinny, chat is VERY compatible with Firefox, I use it all the time.
The problem I had with IE was that, when I used to click on a Web link, whether a picture, Youtube clip, or ATS thread link, it used to kick me and start afresh, with Firefox I no longer have that problem.
I think you probably need to look at upgrading your Java, that usually does the trick.
I am in chat most evenings here, and there is always at least some time devoted to discussing current threads, I have started conversations about them myself at times.

I checked it out one time during ATS Live or whatever. It was completely boring. The boards are fine. They oughta nix the chat and save a few bucks.

I still believe it's a conspiracy here on ATS. I'm not convinced otherwise.
