All forms of calumny and/or detraction against the Holy Roman Catholic Church is punishable...........severly - to the point that transgressors will beg for mercy while the tools and implements of the Holy Inquisition are once again brought to bear on those poor unfortunate souls.

Some of the biggest shareholders for defence companies are the church, i know in the UK, the church of england was one of if not the biggest. So to be into porn doesn't suprise me in the least. If memory serves me right isn't the porn industry bigger than Hollywood and MSM together as a revenue stream

Can confirm this.

In the 90s, the Church had shares in companies than manufactured parts for rapier missile launcher systems. On a side note, interestingly enough the porn industry is in recession some apparently. Not enough films being made for the actors that already exist and such like.

I don't know as much about it but allegedly they were hit much harder than Hollywood by piracy.

Just a wee sample of links to sites carrying stories of the abuse people have suffered at the hands of nuns. I personally know several people who went to some of the more 'moderate' schools where they were only beaten severely, locked in solitary confinement and deprived of food and water (for such things as 'feeling sick in church)... Lovely...

Not all were bad, one of my friends said she had the best time at her Catholic school (run by nuns) and she said they were the loveliest people she ever met.... Still, I've personally come across a lot more people with horror stories than those with nice things to say.....

As for the church being affiliated with a publisher of 'erotic litetature', well, that's probably the very least of their hypocrisies, violations and abuses... And even that's not the half of it... There's the part they play in the spread of AIDS, expanding populations in 3rd world countries etc etc etc.... The list goes on....

Organised religion disgusts me, it allows (i would say actively encourages) good people to do bad things and gives bad people a veneer trustworthiness and decency that they can exploit to disguise and conceal their natures and their crimes.... I defend the right of anyone to believe what they want to believe but that doesn't mean we need organised religion....... No amount of 'helping the homeless' etc can counterbalance the disgusting atrocities committed in the name of the/a/any church.... Goodness, spirituality, belief and worship (if that's your thing) can exist without the church.... It needs to go

The church also funded many many Renaissance artists, inventors, and writers. Many of whom were critical of the church.

Funding the arts does not mean you agree with the arts.

Funding the defense of a pedophile makes you a f**ker.

The Catholics are already well aware.
