Consistent, LOL. You can be a consistent thief, liar,or consistently be against civil liberties.

Ryan appears to have 2 of the listed above already covered:

1. Liar:

"I'm not one [of those] people who votes for something then writes to the government to ask them to send us money. I did not request any stimulus money," the congressman answered.

Busted:
"I didn't recall the letters earlier. But they should have been handled differently, and I take responsibility for that.

news.yahoo.com...

2. consistently against civil liberties, Voted for:
NDAA and the patriot act

ObamNey 2012 Slogan: "Its all about staying the same"

Look at Ron Pauls voting record and you will see it does the opposite of what Democrats want and does what the Republicans SHOULD be doing.

On the other hand you have Romeny: If anything you could say that Romney is a Democrat plant to destroy the RNC.

1. How does a Republican vote for gov't mandated healthcare at any level, county, state,or federal?

2. How does a Republican NOT believe in the free market and decides its best to pick winners and losers by using tax payers money to bailout private companies?

3. How does a Republican not believe in civil liberties and pass the patriot act and NDAA?

4. How does a Republican believe in bigger gov't?

5. How does a Republican believe in the Brady Act?

You could say the Democrats are winning the WAR by implanting one of their own as the RNC leader. Romney is the Trojan horse.

Paul Ryan: Consistent rhetoric,in direct opposition to his voting record.
Ron Paul : Consistent voting record in continued lock step with his words.

As others have eloquently stated, you cant compare these 2 men, why do you and others keep trying?
Paul supporters are smarter than this.

Romney/Ryan desperatly need the Paul supporters vote, they wont get it.

Alright. Ron Paul sure has a consistent message. I have never denied that. I do have a lot of problems with his crazy ideology, but my opinions on those views are all on various different threads in the ATS databases.

Paul Ryan has been saying these things since before most of America knew who he was!!!! Remind you of anyone?

"Our debt is out of control. What was a fiscal challenge is now a fiscal crisis. We cannot deny it; instead we must, as Americans, confront it responsibly. And that is exactly what Republicans pledge to do."

"I Don't Consult Polls to Tell Me What My Principles Are or Policies Should Be"

"Exploiting people's emotions of fear, envy and anxiety is not hope, it's not change, it's partisanship. We don't need partisanship. We don't need demagoguery. We need solutions."

"Borrowing and spending is not the way to prosperity."

"A free economy and strong communities honor the dignity of every person, rewarding effort with justice, promoting upward mobility, and building solidarity among citizens."

I'm glad you brought up our National Debt.

I wish you would put in on your threads. Some people don't even know what it is.

National Debt $16 Trillion

Deficit for this fiscal year : Over $ 1 Trillion !

Paul Ryan/Ron Paul.

Many similar ideas in a much more appealing/marketable package, minus the kooky.

I wonder if he'll get votes from hapless voters simply not paying attention? Or will they go crazy for him?

What astounds me is that people think Ron Paul's views are Kooky and Crazy as another poster in here put it - at all.

If you people would study history and the hows and whys this country was formed, you'd see that Ron Paul's views are not kooky or crazy at all but are 100 % in keeping with the true Republic this country was formed to be.

It's everyone else who has kooky and crazy ideas trying to take this Republic away from We The People. So many grossly uneducated people on here that just don't get it. Why are you people so adamant to defy the Republic and the principles for which it stands? Just what country do you think you are in? Obviously, you have no clue where you live.

P.S. kosmicjack, This wasn't directly directed at you. You just helped remind me that lots of people think Ron Paul's ideas are crazy.. I've read that many times on ATS.

Ron Paul stills acts as if we are giving away free land like we did back in the beginnings of our country. The opportunities are not the same as back and thus the rules can't be the same.

I don't know. Why don't you enlighten us if you know this information? I believe those to be the top donors from the USA. So, what point were you trying to make again?

Because this guy attends a conference with hundreds of others each year this makes Ron Paul == B.B. by association? If this was the case, why wouldn't there be many others giving to RP from B.B.?

The article is there, click on it, read it! I thought Ron Paul was better than that, taking foreign money for his campaign. Whose the hypocrite now?

First, he is from California, born in Germany, moved over here as a small kid. He founded PayPal. What are you talking about, international money? Nice try though, you should research the material before trolling next time. You are interpreting the article incorrectly.

If you are speaking about someone other than P.T., the article mentioned no one else. Again, what point are you trying to make, you are starting to sound ridiculous?

Ron Paul didn't have to accept BILDERBERG MONEY. It makes him look hypocritical. There's other foreign donors as well to add to that list. Foreign money is defined as money that did not originate domestically. BILDERBERG MONEY is FOREIGN.

I give Ron Paul credit, he was more transparent than Obama was in 2008.

My only problem with what you are saying is, "BB Money." Why do you assume this is BB money? Do you think BB funnels money to Peter Thiel? I believe that to be the only way. I am not saying RP should or should not have accepted the money. But I very much doubt he SOLICITED that sum. That is the important part to me.
