yes very interesting that you registered today and made the first comment and the next comment before having time to even watch the video.
and your comments must have been extreme because they have been taken down.

if i didn't believe his story then i do now thanks to the immediate attacks to the op coupled with your first day registered persona.

who do you work for and do they think this tactic works?

I did not attack the op. I only said : Bogus.

Op asked a question. i answered and i was censored.

Ok, I'll give my 2 cents.

Since most of you are native english speakers, you missed the PROOF he IS NOT ITALIAN, he is a Spanish speaker:

In the beginning he tried to be 'italian' and said the following expression:

"QUE SERA', SERA'..."

Which is SPANISH for something like "Come what may" in English!

My hint is: this guy is involved with the FAMOUS 'Dr.' Judy Faltskog, which were trying some scams (also) in..... CHILE. South America.

We need someone who speaks spanish and is from South America around here. This person could pin point if his accent is from Chile. And if it's chilean...... It's Dr. judy Faltskog striking again.
edit on 13-8-2012 by LordAdef because: (no reason given)

I noticed that as well, but it's a popular expression, even in non-spanish-speaking countries, so it's not reliable evidence against him being Italian.

That said, the accent does not sound Italian to me, it sounds Spanish, but i would think that, having scripted the video to the detail that the author did, it would be pretty careless to pick a Spanish speaker to portray an Italian scientist.

You weren't censored, they just frown upon one word answers around here...
If you are going to call something out, they would rather you fill up a paragraph or two of complete useless blather rather than just call it as you see it.
I call it "Junior High Essay Syndrome"...
You know, like when you were in school,(or still are, idk), and your dipstick of a Lit teacher demands you write 1500 words on why you think Crime and Punishment was a significant novel, when one line - "It's not, it's as boring and irrelevant as this class", would have sufficed?
Like that.

After 45 pages of comments it appears that we don't have much concrete proof of who this man really is, or how realistic his predictions are. I must question why he would present this information with nary a thought to what the consequences will be for exposing the "truth." I can't help but think about how a person of his rank probably has a"code" to follow and yet he just casually breaks it using U-Tube as his medium for exposing the NASASecret Files.....I don't believe this is how it works...does anyone really believe he could be so unpretentious as he divulges this dreadful outcome? Whenever I engage myself in these types of threads, I find that a simple walk out the front door, and into the outside world does wonders for me and gives me clarity. This video is NOT the way we will be told of anything that is vital or important. Most assuredly, we will NOT be informed of a negative outcome.... because the fear would spread like a domino effect to all the masses. That is solely my belief!
Either way, my intuition says his good intentions are too intermingled with bad circumventions.

Correct.

Que Sera Sera

The saying was originally coined, in Italian-as-a-foreign-language, by an English aristocrat of the 16th century (the 1st Earl of Bedford), as his family's heraldic motto.

Actually, a lot of proof has been put forward that his predictions are at best misrepresentations, at worst lies.
Everything else you said is bang on....
I'll give you a prediction you can bank on though...
Other misguided members will come to see what's going on to make it last almost 50 pages...as a result, this thread will go on indefinitely, as people continue to argue whether he is spanish or italian, looking upwards to the left or right and what that means ad nauseam...
With any luck, the Van Allens will crash down on us, the demons will have won whatever it is they are trying to win, and I will be relieved of listening to the cacophony of shizen that is 90% of this thread.
...and with that I wash my hands of this madness.

Ok. But the point is that he says it with perfect spanish accent, not italian. And an italian bloke 'never' uses this expression. But I might be terribly wrong.... And he speaks like Antonio Banderas rsrsrs

One more thing to add: it's not very usual for a Dr. to say "the powers that be", as he said in the end.

You guys haven't found this guy? The dude has a great voice, and likes to talk.... it does look staged with edits. Maybe a video game coming soon and this the viral vid..."not a movie" lol.

Who knows, he should of showed some theoretical scientific research or literature to back his stuff up, that is if wanted to send a world message! NOTHING wrong with using YT to get your message out...AJ does it every week lol... Instead we get a guy who is just going to disappear after the doomsday message lol....The end is nigh!

I watched the entire thing. I agree with one of the commenters below. Someone could check the information he gave to see if its legit.

About the warning, it was quite frightening. I never believe anything whole heartedly but i think he is telling the truth. (at least he believes it to be true in his own mind) I don't think he would have made it up without a cause.

Now everyones a sceptic when it comes to "conspiracies" or such far out stuff such as this. To interrogate the video a little all I have to say is I heard females talking in the back ground. Someone was in the building with him. And the bits where the video would cut out and mess up a little. That was also a little questionable.

He should have put some unquestionable evidence in the video if he really wanted to make a WORLDWIDE movement.

About the part where he says it will take all 7 billion of us human beings to change the world. That in no doubt is true.

i did not say it was hard at all...and i did not say it confirms or denies anything now did i...and just because one other person on here says the trail of yale runs dead...does not make it so...that would be like believing one anonymous stranger for another anonymous stranger....man get the pickle out of your ass.
let me ask you this...do you just believe what someone on here says....what is did mentioned was why? even bother with a google plus account if your not at all real in any way shape or form....why not go digging for yourself...I did find a few conti's at Yale...did the other person mention this to you....you do know one of those conti's possibly maybe could be one of his children...so why not keep digging.

To start i must say that it's IMHO quite normal that for every English speak native he looks kinda "Spanish", because both pronunciations look very similar indeed. Well, i am Portuguese, quite familiar with Spanish people,They are our "neighbors", and in my teens i used to deal with some italian guys for some time, and for me he looks exactly like a Italian man talking English!

After i red so many pages where people try so hard to know if he is legit or don't...i have a question:

- Why instead, someone does not try to contact a real astrophysicist, and it raises the question as to whether what he says, it is possible to happen as described?

I think finding a true scientist can be realy much more easy than try to know who this guys is or if he is legit or not!

What this topic need is more Astrophysic experts, instead of so many "body language" ones...

(Sorry for my poor English guys).

Chilen accent? You will be lucky to find people who can speak english.
But the chilean babes are gorgeous.
The video in ques, he also has a video where he is debunkin einstein and the gravity probe suggesting frame dragging is wrong. He is right about einstein being wrong though.

A New Doom?!
Well, I do have to say that this is my first time posting, and I hope I don't make an utter buttocks of myself! However, I have been reading about many of the supposed doomsdays to come, and this is really just another. Not to say that I do not give Dr. Sal some credence. Indeed, I do, yet it seems to me that if we have to save mankind from any of its' inevitable fates, there are a few things we should strongly consider: We should find some way to continually track the magnetic "ley lines" (if you will), we should buffer our cities with anti-radiation shields, fields, and screens, and also we should be warned that the weather could outright cook us, or blast us into next week! This on top of a ruling elite who won't give us straight answers for fear of a mass panic! *SIGH* I think we Boy Scouts remember the one best bet we've got to survive, no matter what, and that is "Be Prepared!" Even if all of these doomsdays turn out to be nothing more than man's own fears, we should be prepared for the next possibility of our species' ruin. Unless, of course, the survival of the human species and our eventual evolution are NOT goals we should perpetuate. If that's the case, just "let me have my toaster, and my TV, and my steel-belted radials, and I won't say anything! Just leave us alone!"

I don't share your opinion, i feel that the person is acting this out with the purpose of deceiving the viewer. It does not feel authentic in the least.

Here are some of the things that stand out to me:
- Overly dramatic, forcing emotion.
- Telltale expressions such as concealed smiles.
- The irrelevant fact that 331 is a prime number, thrown in to embellish the story.
- Pronounces Ursa Major as "Ursula Major" and Bytes as "beats" - unimaginable coming from someone who has spent the last 15 years decoding binary signals from that constellation.
- Claims that aliens exist and have been chatting with us for over a decade.
- Conveniently evades an obvious counter argument - that the Earth's atmosphere will absorb the greater part of the radiation - with an appeal to "alien authority", while providing no alleged explanation - convenient.
- The aliens appear to be capable of faster-than-light communication. No insight provided into how this is possible, despite 15 years of communication - convenient.
- The chat-room argument is weak and is intended to reduce the amount of info provided by the aliens. If the aliens are that superior, they can handle a few messages per day - convenient.
- The person seems to have a Spanish accent. The accent also seems too heavy for someone who has supposedly been in the US for such a long time.

My intuition tells me this person is flat-out lying, from body language alone. I'm entirely unconvinced of the authenticity of the story.

I also don't see how, in my limited understanding of the matter, the Van Allen belt would simply "fall to Earth". I can see potential for increased radiation and disturbances in technology and i'm curious how a reversal might impact certain species, but IMO the doomsday scenario is contrived.

Hey This is a copy and past from Reddit .... Look

[–]Inous[S] 62 points 16 hours ago* TL;DW The gentleman (Dr. Salvatore Conti?) in the video is an Italian who emigrated to the USA, he works (worked may be a better term after this video) within a department of NASA that analyses space signals, trying to distinguish a signal of intelligent design against the background noise of space. He claims that in 1994 (I think) they sent out a signal, and the following year they received a reply, he says they have established two way communication, but the signals have a huge time lag, so a signal sent receives and answer 331 days later. He says the signals are very difficult to decipher, and that communication is hard, basically die to their technology and understanding being more advanced than ours, sort of like explaining science to a chimp. But they are are to understand parts of it. They have recently being receiving warnings, about a pole shift that will happen in 2016, he goes on to explain that this pole shift is unlike previous ones because of the speed it will happen, over a period of a few months not like in the past where they were over centuries of even thousands of years. This will cause the Van Allen belt to drop to earth as the magnetic flux that holds it will drop as the change happens. He goes on to state that the atmosphere will absorb some of the radiation but they expect a 75 - 80% loss of life on the planet. He said it is being kept under wraps to prevent panic, and also because those in charge are in denial. He has come forward because he wants the world, everyone in the world to start thinking about ways to help. He mentions some technology that has already been developed for other uses that can be used to de-charge the Van Allen belt, make it less radioactive, and he feels that 6 billion of us all thinking about and working on the project can come up with something, the pole reversal cannot be stopped so we have to plan what we can do

I was trying to research this and found that that guy Copy and pasted someone else's description without giving credit....

I'll keep up the research tho...

Pseudo-scientists like to claim Einstein was wrong. Actual scientists spend their time proving or disproving assertions, not people.

I have to say Dr. Sal seems genuine. His concern for the world in which we all inhabit, at least. I know that reading someones body signs, does not work for all people. Its more of a guidelines kinda thing. Too many comments about this or that is impossible. As far as I know. Nothing is impossible. Highly improbable, possibly. We as a people are literally at the tip of the iceberg . When it comes to our understanding of the universe, and how it works. Think of us as babies. If a civilization, out there decides to commune with us. Chances are their tech ability far exceeds our own. Faster than light communications are a long ways away yet. But, there are folks out there whom are starting to realize that it is possible. Quantum physics. Mind melting stuff. The laws of physics as we know them get fuzzy at the quantum level. Just because we can't do it yet. Does not mean they haven't puzzled it out. I will say this. As far as finding a foot print on this guy. It may be a mute argument. I know for a fact, that folks with highly sensitive positions in Gov/Industry. Don't have a presence on the inter web thingy. This is for obvious reasons. Compartmentalized. Having said that, it does not mean this guy is legit. Hell, he could just have a subscription to Popular Science.
