3 Earthquakes in Southern Cali in the past 14 hours

3 earthquakes? They said it was more than 30.. Comeeeee on giant quake...... I want it to happen, then we only have to drive maybe 10 min to the ocean , yehhhhh buddy... (edit) Nvm i need to learn to read, it was aftershocks..

That is crazy! All of the research I have been doing on countless earthquake websites all pretty much say the same thing, California, I hope you are ready for the big one. The most frightening out of all the websites is www.haarpstatus.com... with two huge red stars right on the west coast of California nearing a 10 on a scale of 1-10. I hope a large earthquake does not happen, but I have the strangest feeling something terrible is underway.

How come a life jacket is not listed in the "must have" items....? All i know is, if their was a huge tsunami and it was gonna hit this far inland, i have one bullet n im blowin my noodles out. **** drowning...

I looked at that site earlier today. Someone said they had never seen stars on the map??? Not sure exactly what that means but agree with you, something terrible is underway.

From what I have heard about him, it is not psychic either, I heard he broke into HAARP and cracked their code. He can tell that when they start certain experiments, they cannot be stopped and about 104 hours later hell breaks loose.

Could a big quake near Alaskan islands or in the ocean there cause this tsunami they re predicting? Could it theoretically head towards Cali etc?

Yeah, pretty much like mini tidal waves that hit the shores of California from the Japan Tsunami.

Looking at this event map, and the quake right before this which was 50 miles from a volcano.....all seem to be in middle of ocean...so seem like a perfect storm for a tsunami event if they are leading to a bigger 7plus event.

I generally avoid posting these. Those who know where to find them, dealt with what they show a long time ago. Those who have never seen these, normally have a bad reaction. However... It sounds like people are worrying about worse, so this actually may help reassure..as odd as that might have sounded before now.



That is a recreation Shakemap sim from the USGS to show what they think the 1857 quake looked like for damage.

It looks nasty..and it looks scary. but...stop and take another real close look if you live out there (I grew up in Orange (city of) so I know the distances to talk about them here). If you look closely with a sense of the actual layout in L.A., you see those actually ON the fault ...well, being outside and in a wide open field would be the best..I don't know what else to say for that.

However...it's the rest... If you're just 10-15 miles off either side, It'll be a hell of a ride but ..not the "Big One" wipe out of the LA Basin that the movies show. Besides, the famous movie from the 70's didn't even know how to spell the things California has done to reinforce everything imaginable. Those maps also don't take that into account for the Mercalli scale at the bottom.

So...It's likely better than that shows for those reasons and THAT is about as bad a scenario as USGS could come up with. (There are a couple others...but variations of the same general idea)

Just scroll on by if it bothers anyone, but perhaps it shows better how L.A. won't be obliterated the way anything within a couple HUNDRED miles of the New Madrid could take heavy and fatal damage. There is always a bright side. Stay Strong L.A.!
