Sorry, I am not in California right now. Based on the people I've talk to, no one is acting hectic.

But haarp, other websites, and other things happening in the world ... It's perfect timing for EQ to happen in CA. Just like Japan and India quakes.

I think the idea floating around out there is that dogs can pick up infrasound frequencies. There's a theory out there that elephants can pick it up through the bottoms of their very sensitive feet. The whole idea revolves around the notion that a form of energy is released right before the quake itself in (I guess) some sort of infrasound shockwave.

That's the theory at least why animals bolted inland right before that huge quake/tsunami that hit Indonesia (I think?).

Yes, look for "volcanic-type" plumes and at night look for sparks of light given off by the release of energy from the plates shifting.

Apology to the Author for going off topic, but what the hell are you talking about? What undeniable proof I'm not mocking whoever you are, but you have been going around ATS for the past couple of days creating threads saying this will happen.

From my experience, dogs do have an extra sense. One of my pups begins to act very strange usually an hour or so prior to a storm. Skies can be clear and all is calm but she knows it's coming. Cant say how she would react prior to an EQ since we dont live in EQ territory.

in so-cal? havent heard anything

I was up all night long yesterday...looing for every hint. My guess is no, so far.

Here's what I noticed while keeping my eyes riveted on the USGS Real-time EQ map for nearly 24 hours...
Cali is having a steady run of 3's and 4's.
Alaska seems to be following suit...but a bit stronger and moving inland.
The plates between south America and Africa are having some "surprise" appearances.
All of these 5.5 and below....
As someone who watches daily , it seems to be an uptick in activity. Appearing to be nothing special but ya never know.
The only thing making me over-excited is all the activity in Alaska and the dotting of where the plates meet around Africa and South America , they seem "out of place" if you go by day to day rumblings.
It's definitely been an interesting 24 hours.

If I were going to heed any warnings, I'd be more likely to listen to Jessica's warning in the video posted by Starchild on page 8 of this thread. I'm nothing more than an amateur quake watcher and mostly a lurker on ATS since I joined shortly after the Yellowstone swarms in '08, but in watching the daily activity Here, I couldn't help but thinking that something was up on the West Coast which has led me to these threads. That poor little map seems to be filling up more and more every time I look...
