Haven't looked at the full image yet, but that odd spot you point out looks to me like a mosaic issue ... in the full image, does it appear to fall along a seam of joined images?

What I find odd is that I can't find an horizontal pattern for this, I mean, it's like narrowed to a small area where part of the image was repeated in several consecutive vertical layers.

Maybe it's just a glitch, or maybe somebody made a fast edit to cover up something there.

Below is another great picture of of the Atacama Desert in Chile. There are road looking strips in this photo too, but they could easily be air brushed out by any skilled film and movie making technicians.


Parts of Chile's Atacama Desert hasn't seen a drop of rain since record keeping began.

Also a perfect, deserted and desolate location for any movie shoot location...

Thanks ( excentryk ) for Noticing my attempt at some " Humor " here on this potentially volitile subject. Many other ATS Members have posted much better answers than I have on " Why " there is a Great Potential for doubt about Nasa's claims of landing such a complicated landing sequence that has "Never" been done before.

But I think we all "Knew" way down deep that "they" "Nasa" was going to have a successful landing, no matter what the outcome of this landing really was. There are Way too many things at stake on this paraticular Mars Landing, for Nasa not to claim a "Complete Success" - No Matter What Really Happened...

No No, they did this crap job then released the pic anyway, instead of....i dunno, not releasing it with such damning evidence of their cover up....yes. that MUST be the answer. The guys at Nasa are smart enough to hoax lunar and mars landings, but not smart enough to figure out how the clone tool works in PShop.

The premise of this thread is as follows:

A group of scientists who are curious about the conditions on another planet are given the opportunity and money to design experiments to study it. Engineers are then given the opportunity and money to design a spacecraft that can carry these experiments to another planet. Rather than actually make all their dreams come true, they all, thousands of them, decide to pocket the money and fake it all.

This is not a strawman argument, it is the necessary precondition for the theory.

Some posts back I have explained that engine thrust of Armadillo’s Texel rocket engine works in the wrong way.

It pushes to the left instead of pushing to the right and it pushes to the right instead of pushing to the left to keep the rocket vertical. The rocket would rotate in the wrong way and would crash.

Please point out where there's "blurring and whiting out" of the photo. Where you see "blurring and whiting out", I see fine dust particles suspended in the atmosphere.

There's also a terrible lack of basic understanding of Newton's laws of motion in this thread.

If this is the state of education today, I weep for our future.
