Did they have any evidence to back it up?

Didn't see this posted, but Arm Kaleka, one of the makers of Sirius: The Next Bold Step in Disclosure, father was one of the ones who was shot.

I know this is straying into paranoid police state territory but...did any of you notice how sweaty the studio newscasters were today during the first few hours of reporting? I'm not trying to grasp at straws here...I never notice these little physical details but today was amazingly obvious. Sweating foreheads to the point of dripping, slightly unkempt hair, and glances off screen. It could have been the atrocity, exhaustion, or maybe the central air failed at the news station.

Just a thought, a simple curiosity.

While I agree with this in theory, such a condition makes the assumption that military service creates a well-rounded and sane individual. I was a sailor myself, and from firsthand experience, I know this is definitely not the case. PTSD, etc...the military is a crap shoot as to psychological condition upon exiting the service.

If you reall want to get strict on gun control, and I'm not saying I do...require psychological profiling in addition to a criminal background check.

I might be incorrect but from my understanding, the FBI is stationed in the large, blue Federal Building in downtown Milwaukee. Via expressway this is perhaps a half hour...maybe more. Greenfield, on the other hand? 5-7 minutes. Also, there was no indication of this being a terrorist act, hate crime, hostage situation, etc...why the immediate FBI appearance?

Close...The Milwaukee Field Office is at 330 E. Kilbourn (Broadway & Kilbourn), according to Google and fbi.gov.

However, they have Agents in the field all the time. I assume that it was one of those units that responded to the call for multi-jurisdictional assistance.

I've been following this story since it broke this morning, roughly 11 hours ago. Still don't know what to make of it...

Thanks for the response...my assumption was just that; an assumption. And when I used to work in the building, I'd see them all the time. 7th, 8th floor, something like that. But thanks for the info.

A bit. It could have been because the stations pulled their "A-Teams" (aka, their 10pm weekday anchors) in on a moment's notice on their day off to cover this event - for 5+ hours. TMJ4's usually well-kempt Mike Jacobs looked particularly uncomfortable...

Of course it's wiser to wait for some real info on the tragedy but let's start with the rumors.

This is more or less what I've recolected from this tragic event...

One or more gunman/terrorist/suspect,
Terrorist is a White male with possibly tattoos of 9/11
Terrorist Opened fire in a Sikh temple.
Possibly ex-military and ex-skinhead

If these are confirmed, then it's an obvious hate-crime

One more quick thing...question, statement, whatever. The news is recapping the day's events and the newscaster on Channel 4 just stated that the police were alerted to 3700 Holmes Street after entering and searching a grey pickup truck in the temple parking lot. But I thought the gunman had no vehicle on site? Wasn't that the statement earlier?
Thanks for response, this detail is new to me... We will see if there will be mention of said pickup truck tomorrow morning.

I don't see any conflicting reports of the police responders. Early on it was said one officer responded, was wounded, but managed to stop the gunman... Later that was clarified to involve two officers. (welcome to ATS btw)

....And therein lies the conundrum. Criminal background checks are already required I believe.

Now, as far as psychological profiling, perhaps that is coming on a grander scale. With Obamacare in full force, they would be able to finger any person who has ever taken anti-depressants (millions), anti-anxiety medication (millions), Ritaline for ADHD (millions of children....let me repeat: millions of up and coming future adults), medications for PTSD, and the list goes on. Maybe that was the plan all along.....get millions of people on pharmaceuticals, a nationalized healthcare program, de-sensitized to invasion of privacy, control of the internet via a fear of some cybersecurity threat, and voila!!!! An America fundamentally transformed.

Right.. because you are so all-knowing, you KNOW this is a false flag.

Aside from your tinfoil wearing conspiracy theories, do you have any actual proof of it being a false flag? I am about sick of the words "false flag." They are spewed whenever ANYTHING happens, or is scheduled to happen. Like all the false flags in this years Olympics (which were also touted for the 2008 Olympics) - result? Nothing at all of course.

Provide proof - not opinions or theories please.

When the same people who did the crime control the police and media, you may as well shut this place down.
You won't get the truth, go interview those on the scene.
And why are you even here if you feel that way, you can comment over at CNN.
Oh, I get it, you are a hall monitor for the criminals.
never mind.

Just adding two links to thread. Haven't formed an opinion on this aspect yet, but I know some in Aurora threads thought it was of interest:

Close to Milwaukee:
Pewaukee tactical training included mass shooting scenario
Reported on Jul 23, 2012

Southwest of Milwaukee:
Agencies train for mass shooting situation on UW-Whitewater campus
June 10th training

I'm trying to find a link with news anchor/reporter, Toya Washington that I saw earlier this evening where she was discussing tactical training for mass shootings locally. Can't recall name of guy she interviewed or link for it, it's possible it wasn't posted online yet, or ever.

This is a wild case. A lot of people dead and at least one of them someone of interest. It is a massacre and very tragic. The actual shooter(s) will most likely turn out to be a hardcore racist in my view. Now the person, or group, that put the shooter(s) up to it will be a whole another area to look into.

This event touches on what I have been thinking for a while. When things like this happen it is everyone`s fault. It is a sign of a weak society. We see, meet and know people everyday who we can feel are up to something dark and twisted yet we do nothing but deny our gut feeling. A strong society will not let those gut feelings pass so easily. It is better to at least attempt to talk to people and see what is going on with them. A cry for help comes in many forms. The shooter(s) most likely showed many signs of being on edge and no one tried to talk to them. It is not that hard to ask someone, `Hay man, how are you doing? What`s up with you recently? Let`s have a beer, hangout and talk.`

Okay, what if he said it this way.

I'm scared this is a second attempt to whip-up anti-gun sentiment and fuel the politicians who already want to take our guns away into doing so with legislation?

I didn't use false flag. I'm not sure what false flag means. But I did read his other posts and that was what he was getting across. Not sure if just using the phrase "false flag" got them retracted, but I think his concerns are valid.

Now, I didn't just say I agree this is orchestrated, because I don't think Holmes was and I don't have any information on this yet to say it is, but I do see his concerns.

I personally believe this is a copycat, in a sense. Someone spurred by a recent act to also act in some hate-filled way and fulfill some twisted act, but I, too, am concerned about how this incident will be twisted by media and politicians to enforce what they've long wanted - gun control.

That's probably it, probably the most reasonable reason. I wasn't implying that federal agents stood offscreen, orchestrating the news or anything, haha. Just an observation.

Holmes, Aurora shooting so a link to the 7 days before the ceremony opening to this , 7 days before the closing. The dates for first and for the closing date are all 777's, basically 12's, so 21's. And, the street is 3 7's.

Here are some numbers to think about
777/37=21
1221/37=33
