Mass Shooting at Oak Creek, WI

This thread is about the fluid situation happening in Wisconsin, it is NOT about whether guns should be legal or illegal, it is not the place to discuss whether or not there is a conspiracy afoot to make guns illegal in the U.S. by way of "mass shootings".

Feel free to start a thread on any of those topics in the appropriate forum, but PLEASE DO NOT derail this thread with them.

Were getting a massacre every month now it seems... Anything over 2 people dead is considered a massacre.

Breaking Report CNN live coverage. Ted Rollins sp? reporting huge group of officers converging on a wooded area about a mile from Temple, guns drawn...he doesn't know why they are all heading there. He said he heard they are doing a *sweep* of the wooded area. Plus a nearby home. close to the Temple, has a large amount of officers converging on it.

I'm just waiting for them to identify the shooter, go to his domicile, interrogate his associates, collect whatever hard evidence they can to ascribe a definitive motive for this massacre...

If it is a hate crime then why now and not last year or the year before. What was the tipping point?

If it is not a hate crime then I am even more perplexed.

Perhaps they are looking for the other shooters witnesses mentioned. It is possible that in the confusion other shooters might have gotten away.

It doesn't matter who it is, we shouldn't be considering killing anyone, nor should we consider a murder less of a crime because of the creed of the victim.

I bet the idiot that shot those people, thought they were Muslim.

They are just taking their time now, trying to not miss anything. If there is no active shooter, no need to rush and miss something.

They have a perimeter set up and just trying to clear it.

The only reason it's a shame he was killed immediately (not saying he didn't deserve it) is that now we will probably be left with nothing but speculation forever, unless it's proven another person was involved, and they happen to find them.

But if there was a bigger plan behind this, gun control for example: I could see that being twisted into another excuse to ban them. People being falsely targeted, since there probably won't ever be any solid evidence that he targeted Sikhs for any specific reason.

That's what I think. Maybe based on reports from witnesses. We have no idea, if the shooter said/shouted anything before he was killed. The Police are keeping a tight lid on close witnesses during this initial investigation. Especially if they are looking for an accomplice. Witnesses are being held together at a nearby bowling ally for questioning. Reports are that some witnesses are saying they saw 3 shooters. The Press conference is being delayed at the moment.

Well, there is a large population of Sikhs in the Pakistan but they are not Muslim as others in Pakistan are. From what I heard on the news (take it for what it is worth) the shooter was Sikh himself and would have know. However, that could change 5 minutes from now. Who knows....

I get how somebody would think that the century shooter was linked to MK Ultra or its successors, seen as his institution allegdly took darpa money and he was involved in a field of study and program that involved the manipulation of the mind.

Are there any hints this could have been the case with this shooter? From time to time people snap, thank god its less than 0,001% so far.

Actually, in cases like this I would prefer it be just someone losing it. The other possibilities take it beyond isolated incidents to a World stage.
