I suspect that some of the more fervent converts and groupies of Greer-ism, eventually jaded and disenfranchised from series after series of empty promises and continued drawn out lip service given time and again after fruitless financial support, might one day attempt to force the issue by calling on the "Dead Man's Switch" bluff in hopes of seeing if anything falls out of the tree when shaken.

Of course, if anything controversial along the lines of Phil Schneider were to happen to Greer, just like Phil Schneider, such controversy would only serve to ratify his fabrications among believers, making him a martyr, which in a way would be hilarious especially if nothing ever were to result from said threatened "Dead Man's Switch" being triggered.

Ah, silly charlatans and their empty promises, threats, charades, and the people that buy into it.

It's all so entertaining. I wonder what his next scheme after the Sirius film and Alien Autopsy hoaxes have run their lot will be?

And what is wrong with a Dead-man switch? Anonymous, wikileaks, Wilcock and and lot of others do this.

If you intend to divulge government secrets, and DON"T do this you are dead! Even some that have done this wind up dead.

I think Dru was saying that one of Greers ex-'groupies' might off him in the hope of triggering the switch.

There is a sad lacking of respect in this thread amongst some posters.

Giving a opinion about the problems we each have with Greer should not lead to rudeness between members. I have nothing against people who have met him (or not) defending him either. I don't know the guy personally, only what he chooses to air on the interweb.

On the contrary Dr. Greer needs to provide proof that Colby was going to do what Greer claims since Greer is implying Colby's assassination was due to his "collaboration" with Greer. I think it's obvious Greer is lying and taking advantage of Colby's death

Sorry you feel that way. I personally won't pay any attention to someone who does NOT have some kind of dead-man switch. If they don't their info can't be worth much. I have seen some evidence that Greer's statement is true but am not willing to go into details in a public forum.

Good thread and well articulated reasoning, I appreciate your candid nature.

All of the points you have raised are valid, however my main beef with the guy is that I feel like he promised me progress. And he somehow was able to flush all of it down the toilet, and manage to run off into the woodwork while asking for money to do some little private gigs.

I too was extremely exited about the Disclosure Project but once it became apparent he was using everyone as a stepping stone for his own profit, I realized that he sucked.

I have seen some bizarre anomalous air craft, such as a metallic disk shaped saucer craft somewhat up close as it flew over me in 1999. I know there is something to the subject first hand.

But Greer? He has done worse for the truth than he has done it any good.
I have lost all respect for him and will not put up with his promises because I know they will not pan out.

I will not judge any members of the Disclosure Project for Greer's antics but instead will judge each individual and their individual claims one at a time.

Maybe that's what his ultimate purpose was after all? To discredit every person who testified through the Disclosure Project...wouldn't doubt it.
I really do feel like he lied to us, and let us down. And he used and abused some very well meaning people.

The rudeness is only coming from the anti-Greer faction led by the OP himself in what has become nothing more than another whipfest of lies, innuendos and half-truths from them. I would have expected this thread to be closed as have the other threads re: Greer recently vanished by ATS mods.

Is ATS biased to its "living legend" Members? Let this thread stand in that judgement.

He lied to us.
He said he was gonna get the truth out about UFOs/ ET.

But most don't have a ton of $$$ so they cannot afford his "truth".
What do you suggest? Why do we have to pay for the truth?

I am not in any faction. I stand on my own and am tried of being misled and smoke screened.

I saw a real flying saucer with my own eyes. I know the truth already and paid nothing.
But I wanted everyone else to see that truth too, and Greer let us down big time.

I have been waiting 10 years. Is that not patient enough? Am I really a bad guy for giving someone that long to produce results that they promised?

This is my first encounter with this person or anything about him. Regardless, so, ok... he's YAHP (yet another hoaxing profiteer), a schill peddling his snake oil to any suckers willing to buy it. For that, of course, he's a bottom-feeding d*^che-bag... the kind that puts P.T. to shame. However, as the OP points out, he's also a fraud, with no credibility, because... nothing he's ever said has proven true and nothing he's ever predicted has ever happened...
