Hello ATS. (I will not respond to instigators, my motive for posting this is to find the facts, you either have them or you dont)
I am not sure if this is posted in the right section. MODS please move if appropriate.
I did a search and did not come up with anything about this either.

Seems the minneapolis police along with the MN state patrol are asking common citizens to take illegal drugs "that they provide" so that they can observe the reaction. Certainly a manipulation and abuse of the law!

Video link is here.
www.hell.tv...

I would love for more info on this but it seems to be pretty hush hush.

Certainly a manipulation and abuse of the law!

How so? Can you cite valid sources that confirm that assertion?

Serious? Illegal drugs are ILLEGAL! To provide them to the public is no different then being a dealer. Troll much?
Use your common sense.

Wow. I have a hard time believing this is monitored by the state controllers office, as the cop claims.

crazy.

I agree, I heard that claim and I cannot believe it either. Im certainly no search guru, but if anyone else can find any more information on this please post it. Certainly troubling!

helltv is usually a pretty crappy website, full of sensation. But the claims being made BY OFFICERS in this video are quite troubling.

Yup... the police are getting desperate with their tactics.

I found it hilarious that they offered the kid a quarter of weed, to take him out to lunch and buy him a pack of cigarettes to snitch on people. Pathetic...

Hmm... let me see. 1 quarter + food + cigarettes = snitching + placing self in danger + felony for convicted party

These cops think people are stupid... interesting. Although, that's nothing new...

Regardless of the antics, the people in these videos are classic stoners that need to get a life. Occupy? Cmon son!

If these police had any brains at all, they would simply just go to a snoop dogg(lion) concert and observe the crowd. It's really not that hard to figure out where all the stoners are...

For real... they could just go sit downtown on Cedar Ave and 7th(south Minneapolis), or '7 corners' ... stop every other person and observe or ask them questions.

I agree, if officers never made an appearance in this video and saying the things they said, I would never have believed it or even posted it here on ATS.

I would be more than happy to read through your refuting facts my friend. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to believe this video. My motive for posting it here was to find the facts. The ATS gurus are good at obtaining those facts. So far, you are disagree with this because of your own opinion. If thats all you have, then Im sorry you offer no greater evidence of what I already provided. Video.

Serious? Illegal drugs are ILLEGAL!

There are no "illegal drugs"! There ARE only CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES!

To provide them to the public is no different then being a dealer.

Nope, that's not quite true! Contrary to your silly notions, there ARE individuals, as well as facilities, that DO provide "controlled substances" to the public legally.

Troll much?

Idiots that don't like to provide sources validating their claims seem to think so. Are you one of them?

Use your common sense.

That's pretty good advice! You should learn to follow it.

See ya,
Milt

Yet you have no other basis than an badly edited video.

and why are you waiting for other people to find evidence??

Here is another news source..."Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan today said he had no prior knowledge of allegations from OccupyMN protesters saying that other law enforcement agencies have been offering them drugs as a part of a drug recognition program."

And both articles say that the police are reporting that the story has no basis.

Police and doctors have known for decades what the effects are. They don't need to give it to fat white kids to find out now.
