You're doing what the authors of the NT did. They took some basic facts and then added, subtracted, twisted and fabricated as they saw fit.

Fact - God, the Creator made a covenant with Abraham and his seed, Isaac and Jacob ever after to give the Land of Israel to them. That's a fact. It's called the Promised Land for a reason. Why do you think it was called the Promised Land? Because someone felt like using that name because it just sounded interesting?

And when it was burned we wrote it exactly as it was at Sinai - word for word. Because we also have an oral tradition to back everything up in case catastrophe hits, so we REMEMBER. We are commanded to REMEMBER. Never forget. Never ever. Because we are our roots. We are our ancestors. And just as we were redeemed once from Egypt, so it will be again. The setting is these Times, now - during this period. What is going down now - militarily and Judgment against the forces of evil. However they may manifest. Evil will be destroyed and transformed one way or another. The essential role of the Jew and Righteous Gentile is to bring light into darkness. Ouch.... that includes over half Jews, if you did not know. (around 5 millions live in USA, just a little bit shy from number living in Israel) You would not protest if we (not native Americans) have the same fate as Palestinians under Israel occupation, would you? (and don't forget, not everyone is here from their own will, some being forced to move to States).

It's hard to fathom any other real reason for Israels existence other than the future culmination of some dumbass war in the future. What did we expect to happen when we just decided to take some land and import all the "ethnic" Jews into it? Whatever "ethnic" Jew means...I don't even know why they fight about it. I can't tell a palestinian from an israeli If it was going to save my life based off of looks alone. So why fight? All the countries around Israel were created by France and England but for some reason they are completely legitimate in all aspects of being a country...except Israel by many who see it as not a true country, but these same people who do not recognize Israel also want to create a country out of a 6 by 25 mile strip of land called Gaza. Because there are SO many unintelligent people in America who think that "news entertainment' actually contains some truth.

Israel is the worst ally possible. They spy on us, bleed us dry, and make any talk of peace on the Middle East impossible.

We should cut Israel free. They are not needed and certainly not wanted by many.

I don't think that cutting ties with Israel is even possible.

We already know that its close to impossible to force them negotiate peace with Palestinians, and any kind of support against Israel would mean many life lost.

In my opinion, international force should take control over questionable territories to provide piece, Israel should tear apart its wall and both countries should give equal rights to all people living on their soil trough constitutions.

Using God as excuse to annex someone's land in my opinion will never work.

IMHO. And to put it simple as I can. We can't speak out about Israel, because Israel does not want us to. Period the end. Personally, I'm a bit suspicious of the 'God of the Jews.' I often get the strong feeling whomever 'it' might be, 'it' might not be The God. Not a whole lot to base this on. Except perhaps the brutality, the brutality with a nefarious sort of glee. The documented partiality/preference for the Hebrew people, despite what Paul said about "everybody's included!" And a consistent lack of omnipotence. There seems to be alot this God can't do, without someone here on Earth doing some ghastly thing first- or last. These are just a smattering of some of the "evil-like" and inexplicable things about this one, that give me pause. Alotta pause.

"It" often seems to display traits I simply don't find admirable, regardless of who's doing them. I expect better from the real, actual God. He's probably nothing like this one.
