Not a UFO over 2012 Olympic opening ceremony

It's sad that the only reason I'm so amped for the olympics this year is to get the conspiracy threads about UFOs and false flags at the event over with .. but then I also know that after this passes uneventfully ( in regard to conspiracy ) .. there will only be another baseless one to follow =)

Either way.. After 1-60 days when none of these happen, what then? =) though you did throw in at least one believable item.. an aircraft carrier getting sunk could happen though I find that extremely not likely

While that is funny, don't think for a second that there wouldn't have been a post on here by someone, asking or claiming it was a UFO. Watch, I bet we still get a thread on it anyway. Probably from H_A.

That is not a blimp. A blimp will not fly that close to fireworks or it will catch fire. But there is a very easy way to prove that it is a blimp being used by the TV stations. I feel this thread draws more suspicion than service so---- this might be the old create debunk, derail rumor, plant doubt then distract attention' routine.

But I have not been following this story nor Olympics but I did com across this video on YT.
I find both this video and OP's modus operandi interesting IF..........this footage is authentic. That's not my field of expertise.

"Can someone start a thread" does not make for a special request nor is it asking for a thread debunking it in its title.

You are very influential on here and you know it.
You have a reason, excuse and explanation for everything. I mean everything. You just appear to know everything. So why you waste your time on here and not help out mankind is beyond me.

Most people were questioning what this was so a typical thread on ATS would be "UFO at Olympic??" (with question marks) not the opposite.

Where's the proof it was a blimp? I'm not saying it wasn't but where's the close up shot showing the indisputable tall-tale signs of this being a bona-fided blimp? Hey...........makes total sense a blimp would be there but that doesn't mean that this is what that was.

I would like to know what qualifies you or better yet............what tools do you use that makes you KNOW that that was a blimp (or what's next to the Sun? Or some blurred out object soaring at 10,000 asl?) Is it just your psyche?.....a hunch?....an act of common sense and art of deduction?
