9/11 in video game???

There was a game that originated in Germany about ten years ago depicting the round up of Jews, placing them in concentration camps, the the ovens and gas chambers! Which ever player could "exterminate" the most Jews, won!

Needless to say, the German government outlawed the game. They don't need any game gorifying atrocities of Nazi- Germany was their reason.

I haven't heard anything else about the game, I read it in a newspaper.

There is a game being sold for $14.88 by an American White Nationalist record company, Resistance Records, called Ethnic Cleansing. From the site:

The most politically incorrect video game ever made. Run through the ghetto blasting away various blacks and spics in an attempt to gain entrance to the subway system, where the jews have hidden to avoid the carnage. Then, if YOU'RE lucky.... you can blow away jews as they scream "Oy Vey!", on your way to their command center.

Yes but what most people don't know is that this game came out before 9/11
Also, you don't ACTUALLY blow up the towers in the game, Rather you take over an Allied base right next to it, your units never actually fire on the actual towers themselves. Granted you can force your units to, but you can force your units to blow up the Effial tower in Paris on the European levels and so on.

i dunno, i guess its not really that big of a deal. but i think it might be a little to soon to be making a game with 9/11 in it. it will surely cause much contraversy in america. i dont think the purpose of the game is to offend the american people or anything but i think it will. atleast this isnt a terrorism game where you have to acutally be the one driving the plane into the towers. its a disaster game where you have to save yourself from major disasters and 9/11 is one of the biggest disasters america has ever seen.

I would probably get it... It would be cool to see what went on behind the minds of the people in NY city. Should the game come out, the movie wouldn't be far behind.

People can relate to the game, which constitutes as an advantage.

The competition would also be null, since the only thing that could compare to it would be Michael Moores award winning documentary Farenheit 9/11.

Actually I think the competition would be plentiful within a few months. If someone was brave enough to publish it and it was a success I have a feeling there are probably quite a few games similar in nature that currently don't think they have a shot of selling that would all of a sudden come out of the woodworks.

Of course I could be dead wrong. That's just my opinion based on how many ummmm, controversial, disgusting, bizarre things my hubby has on his computer that will probably never see the light of day (none of which deal with 9/11 though).
