You're right, it is easy to find, but I defy you to find a single article on a Fox News, ABC, NBC, CBS news service that still mentions it. I did not find this reported at *all* by Fox News, ABC, or CBS News afilliates.

The places I did find reprints of the article? Most were reprints of the above two articles.




So, the majority of the spread of this disinformation appears to have come from MSNBC/NBC.

The retractions should have been noted in print.

I agree journalists should start printing retractions more instead of just going back and editing without telling the viewers because of their stupid egos. Thank god the Journalist didn't print the roomates names and info or they could of been harassed by people and other journalists. This kind of blunder on a major topic reminds me of when Alex Jones printed the story of the Charlie Sheen/ Obama interview and didn't put a disclaimer it was fictional intill much later and never admitted it was a mistake.

As far as I can tell the first ref to a possible second shooter is at the 8 minute mark...

At 53 secs he's still reported to be shooting... at 5 mins he's in custody.

yeah, there's only one ref to a second shooter, and it seems sketchy at best... someone told a cop that someone who might have been a shooter might be wearing a blue and white shirt...
