I believe the timing directly coincides with Syria actually confirming they do posses chemical weapons. Seeing back during the war Syria actually denied they had any.

So for all of you now Syria lovers who think the west is using propaganda and spreading lies about what is going on there, why would you believe Syria when they seem to be the ones who are lying.

Instead of telling us (the Americans) about these type of things on the news, CNN would rather distract us with the "Olympics" and other pointless bull# that really doesn't matter. The news is here to program us and keep us distracted from what we really need to know.

Bush supporters who helped brow beat this nation into an aggressive patriotic war are now Bush apologists starting the same rhetoric to brow beat us into another aggressive patriotic war?

Bush lied us into war with Iraq. We were lied into Vietnam. We were lead by the nose by the media and politicians into Afghanistan because of 9-11, (We were attacked by Saudi Arabians) and we are going to be lied into war again.

You could very well be right.. I certainly don't claim that I am, sometimes I just channel my inner "Jerry Fletcher" and try to make sense or reason from all of the pieces of this global puzzle.

To the op people have been saying Saddam moved his WMDs to Syria for years it was just easier for people to not research like how Russian special forces where in Iraq during the lead up to the war and moved them to Syria where Russia current;y has special forces on the ground and has for years.

Russia sells on the open market just like America does. Russia has a naval base in Syria so what can't they have Spetsnaz there especially during the rebel uprising? Funny how you choose to overlook these obvious facts.

This goes hand in hand with the many reports submitted to the US and UN in the lead up of the Iraq war invasion, that Russian Special Ops Troops were Semi-Trucking out of Baghdad massive amounts of material into Syria. Some 14 to 18 months of material shipments.

If true Terrorists get a hold of any part of these stockpiles expect the entire middle east region to all be war with each other soon.

I am watching the video, the audio is terrible. I am trying to figure out why you call my post lies and then post a video about Hillary Clinton. I will try to understand what you are implying by watching the video since you provided no useful information.

Since you only make a vague statement about lies exactly which statement did I make do you find to be false?

You blamed bush and his supports for "brow beating" america in to going to war. that's a lie based on political spin by Democrats and their media. The truth is that not only did Hillary build support for the war, but many other Democrats did as well. In fact, Bush argument was EXACTLY the same as Clinton and other Democrats who were making the case before W ever took office.

Your simplistic political spin is lies and revisionist history.

And I remember clearly that back when we first started the Iraq war that he was claiming that he had "talked" to members of his Church that where in the "intelligence" community.

Keep in mind this was just before the invasion started, I remember him claiming that there would be no WMD's in Iraq.

Because they where "shipped" to Syria...

Bush did browbeat this country into war.

Because Hillary was also a supporter does not mean Bush did not brow beat this country into war, as did all his cabinet members, the media, democrats, on and on. This doesn't make my statement false.

All i can say that in mid 90s in military in basic training we were told that Syria has chemical weapons ,even what general types of chemical weapons they have.
Maybe they got Iraqi stuff too. And maybe not.

Well for me the whole Iraqi WMD program question is a moot point. Nobody will ever change their minds one way or the other.

The real question should be in my mind is just how much does Syria have?

Not that this is [as has been the custom in these types of threads] a typical topic where people accusing those who wish to simply discuss the topic in a frank and open manner of being Warmongering and or advocating an attack on said country.

That type of waffling deflection from the topic get's a bit old IMO.

Truthfuly, WMDs do not include Chemical weapons...thats a new twist they put on it, but it wasnt so in the past....
Chemica weapons are at best very localised things....yes they can kill people, but not destroy infrastructure....
But Chem weapons have ONLY recently been included as WMDs to broaden the fear factor and to dupe the public about the threat.

Same trick? What are you talking about? Syria claimed it didn't have Chemical Weapons some years back and now they are telling us they do. Apparently, many of those weapons they have stockpiled are in fact from Iraq, so I am not sure what trick you are talking about unless Syria is trying to trick us into invading by lying about having these weapons!

Well, first I was way to lazy to read the whole thread so forgive me if this was stated already, but.... why don't we heed the advice of the founders and just stay out of everyone's business?
