One reason Judges seal cases, is to try to keep the jury pool from being tainted. It's the first things Judges do these days on extremely high profile cases. This case will be bigger than the OJ, and Casey Anthony trial put together.

You know the first thing the defense is going to shout for, is a change of venue, claiming tainted jury pool. The media by covering the same stories over and over, 24/7, is the reason a gag order has been put in place.

jmoho....

It's creating questions here, among us. Whether it's creating questions in the general populace, I doubt it. Most sheeple are probably past it by now. I've been relaying some extremely provocative information to many outlets at my disposal, and far & away ATS is the only place really paying attention.

It's not that big of a deal. The whole story will come out anyway sooner or later.

The second that someone turns on the MSM, the jury is tainted. This is and always will be the case on any and every case, that people cant wrap their heads around.

Peace, NRE.

My opinion. This is some kind of Psy-op either by the US government or another one. My thought being that Iran threatened retribution if they are invaded then this could be a warning shot across the bow to the American government.

If you invade we have thousands of covert agents who will do the same thing across the United States.

Also it could be a Operation Northwoods in action as well.

Just something is rotten in Denmark about the entire event.

Psy-op, I agree with. Iran, that's a bit of a stretch. Iran gains nothing by assassinating American citizens. Just like they gain nothing by bombing a bus full of Israeli tourists. Most terrorism is domestic in nature, disguised.
Finger pointing at Iran has become all-to-common practice now a days.

This seems pretty reasonable to me...Can't really refute this right now.

Still with some many discrepancies already, this still seems so odd. At the same time though, it's probably for the best to shore up all the loose ends...be it to get the facts straight or to straighten them out the way they want. Either way, I'm sure there will be some sort of backlash and demand to view any/all files related to this case from groups of individuals that want to know exactly what happened and why.

Sealing the case is a sure fire way of keeping our interest, especially the conspiracy theorist...raising the level of amazement at their actions. IMO they need to keep this ramped up till the 27th. I also feel there are other events to follow before the 27th.

Respects.

Thank you mattdel for the good post. I'm not sure my self if it was a false flag operation or not. I spent all day yesterday trying to contact my friends. They're okay. But this whole thing has shook my world, as well as everyone around here.

There were over 200 local cops on the scene that night. That's too many to keep any major secrets about what happened, especially in the case of intentional falsehoods. There are already law enforcement agents revealing details anonymously to the media.

Actually, quite the contrary. Pandemonium ensues, chaos abound. Real depictions of the events are then scattered in among the varied other stories, and bingo bango, you got yourself a secret, covered up, sitting on the front page.
Hiding in plain sight, as they say.

I wasn't aware of anonymous details though, if you could link that would be great.

I was trying to post the link earlier and had problems. It's an anonymous source talking about how the 100 shot magazine jammed. I had seen a victim on the tube earlier today talking about the gun jamming just as he was about to be shot.

"contrary to public interest"

Within those court documents will be detailed plans of that SOB's bombs, triggers, booby-traps, chemical compositions and recipes.

Although most of these things can be found on the net, this kind of information should not be released to the public.

I'm not sure I'm following you. Who would be scattering in the "real depictions of events?" You have the entire North America press corps crawling all over each other to scour every detail of this event and hundreds and hundreds of witnesses. What secret could be covered up?

I hope everyone looked at their keyboard after this posting. Nice one.

Just wanted to add that I agree with the decision to seal. Court cases shouldn't be vented in public. After the case is tried, let it get out. They are obviously still getting warrants, etc, that could possibly lead to other people being involved. The roomates for example. Was he trying to blow them up as well or were they in on it?

Let's say that you were at the theater and heard a knock on the exit door and opened it. This guy comes in but leaves you alone. All of a sudden everyone starts making you complicit in the crime. The media is showing your picture on every station. Nancy Grace calls for your execution. You are forced to spend big money on counsel. It wouldn't be fair to you and that is why records are sealed in these high profile cases.

Or what if you were this poor schmuck? :

The involvement of a second suspect in the Colorado shooting that took place Friday morning has been discounted after police confirmed that another person who was taken in for questioning was only an associate, but was not believed to be linked to the case. .....The "associate" of Holmes was questioned Saturday night, however, it appears that he was just the last classmate of Holmes left to be questioned by police and could not be found originally, Fox News has reported.

did anybody see the interview with the women who's boyfriend had been shot
they said he had laid on top of her to protect her and took a bullet but it was how she was acting that i found strange her crying didn't seem real and not ones did she look at the camera it just looked like some bad acting
the other thing i noticed was when the police was giving a speech he never looked at the camera and his eyes are moving side to side all the time like he didn't want to make eye contact with any one which is what somebody does when they know they are lieing somebody telling the truth and been honest makes eye contact

Absolutely has to seal this thing up if there is going to be a successful jury selection process. The more that comes out publically the more opportunity there is for more potemtial jurors to no longer be eligible.

I'm not following this. Are you saying hundreds of theater patrons, hundreds of cops and who knows how many EMTs, doctors and nurses are all making this up?

Ive got a feeling they want us to keep on about this case for as long as they decide...This is a sure way of pulling in interest to the atrocity...Mind games, the double bluff....

There is a connection between this, the Burgus bombing and the upcoming Olympics and they want us to be focused on this at this moment in time. All are part of the one ritual.

I'm having a bit of a fused cerebellum over that first line. How exactly is withholding every detail, from here on out, a sure fire way of pulling more interest in? Seems to me it's a tactic aimed at burying this, now that a huge mass of people can smell the stink.

The answer to why locking things down keeps things going is easy: speculation. The newsreaders LOVE to speculate, and they can do this unabated if there are no facts to contradict them. Fact get in the way of "ratings" and when none are present, as in the average helicopter chase, the media whores are in their element. One can speculate if this is the real reason it was sealed, or if the police are trying to protect themselves, or just like all things terrorism - the laws do not apply, but history has proven when no facts are present, media, TV in particular, do some of their "best" work.
