Your operating under the assumption I was ok in the head to begin with....as you so clearly point out, Im not. My base value on human life is shallow at best, yet there are still rules, there is still honor. If I protect you from getting killed its not because I care about your life...because I don't. It's because it is more righteously so and noble to protect those who do not deserve such action. Its the right thing to do to protect those who are unwilling to take control and protect themselves regardless of what my motivations are....a human life not being one of those.

So in that respect yes I value human life, just not as you whiner bubble dwellers see it. There is value....if misplaced so be it. I focus on the action as a determination of worth, not whether or not someone is just breathing...anyone can do that.

And yes, I do find most of your reactions entertaining and the tragedy ironically comical......sick as I may be I am not without moral compass as it pertains to logic. You obviously need to go back and re-read some of my posts, I never claimed to be anything nice. And I sure as heck wouldn't want to fit into your blubbering idea of societal norms as obsolete as they are.

Not everyone is inclined to go with the grain of popular opinion....shame you don't realize that. And one man's sickness is another mans cure. You need a lesson in alternate perspectives me thinks.

The bad guy was sneaky, he opened the door at night.
Not nearly as much light would have come in as compared to a sunny day.
This also means he would have no retinal adjustment period on his eyes.
Note to self: no more seeing movies at night, I want the tactical advantage if a nutcase storms into the theater.

CNN reporting they are going to detonate, blow up his apartment now. Using a robot, because it's so heavily booby trapped.

Maybe this has been answered in this huge thread, but I have been working all day. I heard this morning the killer told the cops that his apartment was boobytrapped. If this guy wanted to kill many people why stop with the ones at the movies? Why not take out some cops too?

Why did he tip off the cops?

Don't get me wrong. I am glad he did. Just curious why.

I wondered this also but maybe he wanted the diversion to be while he went on his killing spree.


He left loud techno music playing possibly so a complaint was called in to police. A neighbour did call, but no officers showed up because they were already attending the crime scene.

CNN has said he bought a ticket then went out emergency door,proping it open to get back in with his weapons.Also the police are talking about detonating the explosives in his apartment because its so thoroughly rigged as to be unsafe to enter!The cops may blow up the whole building!

This episode from the comic is really a lousy excuse. It is just too made up.

A couple weapons proficient people in the seats with their CCW & a firearm...just maybe he wouldn't have been able to run around for 20 mins shooting people.

The one report I saw said the shooting lasted for about 2 minutes. Unfortunately, cannot find it right now.

The police have said between the first 911 call to the time they responded was between one and one minute thirty seconds. Media is also stating such.

So he couldn't have been shooting for long.

Most societys, find murdering in coldblood, not normal. Its not an obsolete social norm, cause the majority of humans find this to be sick, and disgusting. So THATs what they were trying to tell me about how the movie was catching people in a spiders web. Now they got cops in all these theaters across the country. I hope they dont have copycats. Im going to wait to go see those movies. I will be ok not seeing them (although disappionted because I need to see Liam Neeson man!)
