Was this woman a possible target? What are the chances at being at two shootings weeks apart, in two different countries no less? Odds have to be up there...maybe she was a target? Who knows

Someone responded to you saying that none of the bodies had been moved because the police were still doing their investigations, but I know that's not true.. witnesses and news reports talked bodies being carried and dragged out not long after it happened.. But yeah the last official number is 12, it was reported as 14 originally then revised to 12 .. Not sure where that person's post went, when I hit reply it was gone.

Sure, I understand.

I just know from the mouth of the officer pulling the bodies out of the theater shortly after arriving (anyone saying otherwise is given a false account of events) that she pulled 12 bodies that were pronouced DOA by the EMTs at the scene.

3 others are in critical condition and may die today.

In this case, my own mother in law was one of the first responders Officer Annette Brook of the APD, she told her story to me and my wife (her daughter) and the bodies were removed early after arriving to calm the scene down.

I do however see a conection between the movie, and a possible false flag in London (exactly 1 week after this event took place, during a movie in which Bane destroys a stadium from underneath using explosives).

I just don't want many different versions going around when I am the son of one of the Officers whose actions are being misconstrude.

If it was that many people it's got to be stagged. If it was just a few I'd suspect a random idea. But that many? No way it's likely stagged.

Care to explain why it has to be staged? .. it's the highly anticipated batman finale .. opening night.. he's firing a shotgun into a crowd .. they are called scatter guns for a reason.. at close range, a single shotgun blast could hit dozens at a time..

Well I'd rather have a gun than no gun. But with no training other than target practice it would be a tough shot when your panicing.

It was close quarters, YES there was tear gas........but the guy could have been shot in the face, a round will easily go through a gas mask......

Again, not saying it would be easy.............but saying that no one with a CC could have stopped this guy is just as stupid, as the people you claim to be dirty harrys.......

So....

He was dressed as Joker and yet he was wearing a flak jacket and gas-mask.

This doesn't make sense at all.

The Joker was left outside while the killer escaped safely.

I think it will be interesting to know how many rounds were fired. That will at least give us some insight into his accuracy and training with these firearms. If he fired off 300 rounds and only managed to hit 70ish targets would make me think he was just a nutcase, but if he fired off 100 rounds and hit 70ish targets it makes me think there is more expierience/training involved. just a thought

There is a school of thought that there is something afoot in popular culture or media (image, song, something...) that triggers these events. I'm not saying I believe it, I'm just saying. I'm sure some would also say it was sunspots or cosmic dust or whatever...

What makes you so sure? There are plenty of murders committed without guns. Plus, the rules of the theatre said no guns allowed. He obviously ignored those rules, so how would banning guns have been any different?

He also apparently had access to C4, Teargas, and unknown other explosives and chemicals. Those things are already illegal, but he has them.

blimey... this thread is moving fast.... i cant read all the messages on this thread!!

But what i wanted to point out is that I remember reading about guys going out in super-hero outfits stopping crime if they see it.... well maybe this guy thought 'hmmmm..... if there's good guys out there fighting crime wearing super-hero outfits then why can't i dress up as a bad guy and go cause some trouble' so he dressed up as 'the joker' to counter the guys dressing up as -super-heros...

there could be others ready to do the same thing

Look for these indicators which point toward this being a 'manipulated shooting event:'


--'Uniform' of all black/camoflage/trenchcoat look.

--Suspect on prescribed drugs or 'treated' at some point by a shrink or counselor.

--Other shooters besides the named patsy.

--Lack of any believable motive for the shooters' acts.

--A shooter with professional training.

--Delayed police response.

--Feds become involved in the response or post-shooting investigation.

--Perpetrator has ties to the military.

--Politicians attempt to impose new laws in the wake of the shooting.

--Extra guns and ammo found in the auto and at the home of the shooter or an excessive quantity of ammo carried by the suspect.

--Abnormal mood/expression on the face of the perp.

--Early start time.

--A manifesto/suicide note which hints at his future act but does not name the actual target.

If he was that geared up, then he was highly immobile and unaware of his surroundings. Even without guns, 4 or 5 grown men could have jumped him from behind and taken all his toys.
