'Sin' needs to be clarified...like shifting definitions of terrorism...

In the venn of karma/weighing of the soul/judgement (because the inclusionist view comes from intelligence) jhill76 has it closest in so far as can be legitimately understood, given the complicated nature of an ongoing snakes and ladders game...
...and forgetting man-made definitions (wiki, collins, webster et al) OP has it spot on...we will ultimately always be perp, judge, jury and executioner at a rolling trial, until we no longer need the human experience to 'balance the books'...then we move onto other forms of experience and greater responsibilities, on a grander scale...

Responsibilities is the crux (cross, if you like) since it requires a personal 'admission'...and any, and all - shifting of blame - devil, satan, demons etc are a psychological ploy administered on a personal level to abrogate ultimate responsibility for ones' actions...
