I have been on my own since I was sixteen, worked my way through high school and college, ate one meal a day, at work (worked as a dishwasher then a prep cook), graduated from college,paid back my student loans and I still continue to work my ass off to EARN what I am making. I never took a handout (no one there to give one anyway)
and I give ten percent of my income to the church so I don't fit in your "greedy" box you want to put me in.

Public sector workers were so profligate that despite massive taxes their community ran out of money.

Unable to consider cutting their million-dollar-plus pensions and inflated salaries, they used the ruse of pretending to cut a popular and well-loved service like a library.

This ruse failed, it looked like they would lose the vote, but still they wouldn't countenance reducing their own all-consuming greed.
