The liberal media will start attacking Romney right away, with the Democrats suing using the popular vote theory.

Will Romney fix the country? How much time will I give him to do that. That question can be answered in so many ways.

1. I can say that Romney will be different than Obama using his corporate knowledge and economic know-how he can try to get the economy back into shape. Will he? That's up to the democrats, isn't it? If they feel betrayed enough by the tea party people they may do what they claim the tea party did and try to block everything that Romney does making him another DO-Nothing President.

2. Can Romney be successful? YES! If Romney can gain control of both the house and the senate and the SCOTUS by appointing 2 new Conservative Justices, he can get a lot of his agenda completed. Without the help of the media who will surely try and attack him every chance they get.

You sound just like Obama supporters...

Show me in Romneys voting history how he differs from Obama...

NDAA
Patriot Act
Drones
Federal Reserve
Wars
Constitution

Where exactly does he really stand on these issues.... not where he says he stands or where you hope he stands... he has a voting history... show me how he differs from obama.. thats right you can.t

And if you don't like those issues how about show me any issue that he differs on... anything....

If I chose my candidate based on voting record alone...I wouldn't be voting in any election ever. The government has stupid laws and stupid politics always gets in the way of those laws. Do those laws really ever get anything done?

Now, that's the real conservative in me talking!!!!

Well I am not comfortable with Romney's voting record, but I am even less comfortable with Obama's and whoever else is running. So are you saying I just shouldn't vote?!

That's not going to accomplish much. Someone will still win the election.

This is exactly what I was saying in my first post to this thread. There are no real differences between the two besides their skin color. That and the fact that one is a democrat and one is a republican. That's it IMO.

Is this to say that you too feel it was unfair for the current President to have come under attack less than one month after taking office?

Thank you for your input.

So... how long will you give Romney? You never got around to stating that.

Thanks

If he can maintain control of the house senate for two years, I will give him that. But I can start criticizing Romney right away. I give him the benefit of the doubt now, because we have this loser in the White House now. But Once Obama is Gone, Romney shouldn't say it's all Obama's fault. That will give the media another chance to attack him.

Romney shouldn't blame anybody. He should just get the job done!

What I'm saying is we need a game changer... we need to hold their feet to the fire. Your not comfortable with Romneys record.. yet your compliant to have him be the choice of the republican party.. and like a good ol boy you'll just go and vote for him.

Yet you won't support anyone else.... you won't hold Romney's feet to the fire... you will get what you deserve

Star for you. This is EXACTLY why an independent runner will never win. Nobody wants to write in an alternative that didn't make the ticket for fear that their vote won't count, or that it will automatically take a vote away from the "better than the last, but still not good enough" candidate. As long as we continue to vote in this matter, we will continue to have issues IMO.

Sorry. I don't mean to be stalking you in this thread...but you have made good points that I agree with whole heartedly.

With Romney's bi-polar voting record and political stances, the world would descend into chaos in the midst of his actions, not knowing what to think or do with a man who both agrees and disagrees with them..

I'll be as harsh as I was with Obama and Bush before him.

But going to your question, the democrat meme was always about "it takes time", "it's Bush's fault", "you can't correct 8 years in just one, or two, or three".

So how long will democrats give Romney? Or will they be hipocrites?

I give him six months and he'll have us out of debt. And here's how he'll do it:

1. Military spending - Outsource it to to China (where he sent the South Carolina jobs) who will invade nations for us and then split the spoils.

2. "Obamacare" - Outsource it to the Canada (where he opened his call centers) who will handle all of our paperwork for the new bill.

3. Immigration - Outsource them to Germany (where he send all the jobs from the Miami factories he closed) where they can become German citizens.

4. Science Spending - Outsource it to Taiwan (where he already has manufacturing set up) and then they can "manufacture" whatever science he wants.

5. Oil Drilling - Outsource it to Mexico (where he sent California jobs) and then the Mexicans that haven't been outsourced to Germany can drill for us.

6. IRS - Outsource it to Ireland (where he has yet more call centers) and they can then handle all of our taxes.

7. Congress - Outsource them to India, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan, and Singapore (where he has call centers and manufacturers from closed US plants) and then they can be even more effective by simply not being here.

8. Vice President - May as well outsource this position to Obama...

With all of these industries and sectors outsources, we can't lose!

This country is done.
The same criminals behind the scene are still running the show and it will not make one bit of difference
with Romney, whom was picked by them as it is.

AND THERE lies the RUB.
He has no intention of doing anything different than the "Democratic President" has done, because they sure as heck do not get their orders nor wishes from the American People.

To answer your question of how long i would give him...... I would be judging his everymove... so if the first month went by with nothing then yes I would start critizing... if 6mths went by and he didn't repeal NDAA or Patriot act I would be right in believing that he is a criminal just like obama.

Thank you for your input.

Has Romney gone on record stating he's hoping to repeal NDAA and the Patriot Act? I personally don't recall seeing/reading/hearing any such statement, but I also can't consume every bit of media out every day.
