It's November 6th 2012... All the numbers are in...

And Romney has somehow managed to win the Presidential race.

After the unbridled joy and elation you feel, after you shake off that post-election night hangover, once the dust settles...

How much time will you allow Romney to fix the country before dusting off the tri-cornered hats and Don't Tread on Me flags?

The current tea party gave President Obama less than a month before unloading on him on cable tv because he hadn't correct the pit the second Bush administration put the country in yet...

How long will you give Romney?

We are a country and a culture of instant results. Anything less and you're a failure.

...Right?

It doesn't matter because its Bush's fault.

Since Romney will be following the same agenda as Obama does it mean that everyone that doesn't agree with Romney is racist?

The whole politcal charade leaves such a bad taste in ones mouth that most people don't even care, and I have to admit I'm jealous because ignorance is bliss.

Those people that do follow along and pay attention realize that there is nothing that we as single individuals could ever do to change anything.

If Romney wins... what would change... he already said he would repeal Obamacare... AND REPLACE IT!!!...Which means what.. oh that he really isn't going to do anything except follow the Establishments Agenda of destroying the constitution.

I am still going to vote for Ron Paul. I will not vote for a Establishment choosen canidate.

I will give him three years.

The real problem IMO, is not so much the President. It is Congress who is failing to address the issues we are facing like social security, IRS, failed war on drugs/terrorism, medicare, medicaid, immigration, and the list goes on.

Unless Congress addresses these issues, ain't no president is going to get the job done.

I will have no unbridled joy or elation at a Romney win...nor with an Obama win.

I have no faith that either of these men can bring about positive change. They are each other. One dark...one light. Both with the same agendas IMO. Neither has the amount of power we attribute to them.

Thank you for your input. Allow me to follow up with a specific question to you - Do you feel it was fair how the media and the so-called tea party movement went on the attack with President Obama so soon after taking office?

Nope..Even I was a harsh critic but I know that it is going to take a new President time to learn the ropes...I think the attacks are also because we always want things done quickly.

BTW, this is pretend.
I predict Obama wins.

To answer your question of how long i would give him...... I would be judging his everymove... so if the first month went by with nothing then yes I would start critizing... if 6mths went by and he didn't repeal NDAA or Patriot act I would be right in believing that he is a criminal just like obama.

Of course we know that he wont do any of those things so why beat a dead horse with a stick. Romney will not do a damn thing to help this country and in four years the democrats will say... "see!!! we told you its the republicans fault and you should've voted obama!!!" its all a finger pointing charade..

FIRE ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I already started.

That kind of mentality only effects those with Party Loyalty.

Im loyal to no party. Im loyal to myself and those I love.

If either or make it out of this race without going to jail before gaining or re-gaining entry into the oval office, than I will be sad.

IMO- neither are worthy. The people lost the only chance they had because of party politics.

Now they will get stuck with a choice of which evil they want controlling things; hades-or-lucifer.

If Romney makes it, I will be just as hard on him as I was Obama. Cept this time- it will be the opposition of today that will be cheering me on. And those that I tend to agree with today-might become future 'rivals' because I wont tow the line.

Either way. It doesnt matter, cause neither deserve it.

I'll give Romney 4 years...

... to ROYALLY SINK our economy in which it will then take the next democrat a full 8 years just to get the country above water again.

Has Romney gone on record stating he's hoping to repeal NDAA and the Patriot Act? I personally don't recall seeing/reading/hearing any such statement, but I also can't consume every bit of media out every day.

Wow...it really didn't take long at all. That's what's called a sore loser. From the beginning the 'losing' side had no intention of making the country work and get back on its feet, they lost the executive branch and both houses. Everything wrong with the country was now the fault of the progressives, the leftists, the democrats.

Ending wars was cowardice and tantamount to spitting in the face of our dear servicemembers.
Raising taxes was destroying the already wounded economy.
Spending on stimulus packages for new roads, lower taxes and small business loans was big government and excessive spending.

This administration was failing before it even began, thus would be the mantra of those who lost in 2008. It's worked and is still working.

October 2010:

NATIONAL JOURNAL: What’s the job?

MCCONNELL: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.

Not end the killing of servicemembers, not create jobs, not lower taxes but to end the administration. Tell a lie often enough and it starts to become truth.

But...but...he will have "Inherited" all the problems, so it can't be his fault.

BULLSNIP! Both ran for office and actively sought the problems they have run for. If Romney is to have a effect, he will have to get Congress off its fat collective butt and do something. I don't really think that will happen though.

So we will continue down this dark path, only with a new figurehead at the helm.

Well it isn't like I have any hope that he will accomplish anything. with all signs pointing to the Democrats narrowly holding onto the Senate, acting as a counter to him and the House trying to pass invasive laws on my vagina, putting the Muslims and Gays in their place and making sure the wealthy can afford to get their diamond encrusted backscratchers with no luxury tax on it assembled in China oopps i meant the Southern US my mistake after year one of his reign they will look pretty much the same.

Never trust a corporate raider!! Maybe he will take some of those 30 year T bills and send them overseas!
I figure after he wins, I will probably shed some tears of anger, then be angry for about a month. This country can't take another hit from another "wealthy" President who has no compassion for working class people.

It took Reagan 3 years to fix Carter's mess. So as long as things are better within 3 years, I'm OK with that.
