It's my main source for ATS. Well it was. If it's going to look like this, it won't be. I normally don't have time to peruse the forums. I just go to the home page, look to see if anything interests me, and if it does, I click it.

From a professional standpoint this user interface is awful.

Multiple people I've invited here have asked me how to get to the forum index on this website. No one should have to ask that on a forum as it should be the home page.

Personally, I don't like it. Change for the sake of change is idiotic.... I've seen it on other sites like BBC, and I prefer the older version by far. Are there too many website designers on the payroll? Relatives needing work? The other version was better! That's MY vote anyway!

I don't like it, but to be honest, I have never liked the ATS layout.

It's odd, but I like the colour selection, the menu bar and I have even come to appreciate the ribbon menu(only through necessity) though it's absence from the 'live feed' is an annoying omission.

Even the ad's don't really bug me that much as they provide an income for the site owners and thus ensuring this 'repository of cracks free thinkers' endures.

I think it is the main forum layout that bugs me the most.

To post a thread you need to play a sonnet with nothing but mouse clicks before invoking some nameless deity whilst spreading the ashes of a freshly fried hard drive into the pool of a thousand and twenty four goldfish who are also singing the sonnet in time to your mouse clicks. When a rainbow shoots out of your wireless modem.....you can post a thread.

The only other option is to try and navigate through the ATS pages and blindly stumble upon a new thread link.

As most of you already know......it's easier just to play the damn sonnet.

All jokes aside.....What logic puts the 'new thread' button in an existing thread?

With all the prompts for members to put a little thought into threads(and posts) before posting our drivel to the world......What logic puts the 'new thread' button in the one place where only a hothead would use it?

Well, I should say, 'hotheads' and people like myself who now go straight to another thread of the right topic to use the 'new thread' button because it is the easiest place to get to.

/bitch

To the owners/mods......thanks for the great site.

I'm just glad the guy with the soulless eyes is gone.

His expression.... Same. Over and over.

I reloaded the page several times before I realized my browser wasn't messing up. I guess it's ok though not something I would have done. Might get used to it after awhile...sorta like a gray hair, you know it's there and it bugs the hell out of you but you get used to it.

Major changes going on at ATS, and if you pick Boncho as your Regent than he will be sure to fix this with a drunken tirade.

Hate it. Why fix something that isn't broken?

Turn it back to the way it always has been!

Well, many negative comments here.

I for one like it.

Its plain and simple, and I only see one ad!!!!! Thank God!!

So yeah, not too bad, not the best, but workable.

Makes ATS look much more legitimate in my opinion

And that's what they're going for after all - it's the reason we aren't able to discuss certain topics in any capacity whatsoever - so that ATS doesn't lose credibility.

Plus they got rid of the picture of the guy making goofy faces on the front page...and that CAN'T be a bad thing

I don't generally visit the home page, I always start on the firehose.

I took a look, though, and it looks kind of scrambled and unorganized to me. I don't understand the color choices for the boxes. Same for the box sizes and why some have additional text. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.
