The theory presented in this thread is that rabies is the disease that is causing these attacks. I have presented points that make it very unlikely that is rabies, you can't then assume that the big bad government engineered a virus that is doing this. It's not rabies I'm sorry its not rabies.

That doesn't change the fact that instead of the traditional strains of rabies, it would most likely be a new strain that is possibly engineered (if this is a virus).

This thread also proposed points that are very valid to support this theory.

Apologizing that you do not believe it is possible does not change the facts.

If you want to prove this then how about prove the process on how the virus could have mutated, what exact gene changed, and then how the mutation actually changed the vector for infection. This thread doesn't do any of that, its just saying "ahh CDC well ya know they could have changed the virus...so thats how it happened." Have any of you actually mutated Viral RNA before? It's difficult and is used to infect bacteria to change its DNA, I have done this before its a difficult process and doesn't actually yield much.

Yes, I am aware of the process, and the level of skill/knowledge it would take. I also know that viruses mutate into different forms everyday naturally. And can cite countless factual references to this statement.

I challenge you now.. what viruses were you toying with? What methods did you use? What were the results, and more importantly, what was the purpose?

I, nor anyone else here, have stated nothing to be a fact, and it is all speculation. You have just opened a can of worms by insinuating you have first hand information, and have physically done things in the field of virology.

So please, explain yourself.

We used Viral RNA and mixed in an antibiotic property and then crossed that into E. Coli bacteria, the resulting culture was in fact antibacterial and actually cleared out the anti bacterial medicine that was on the auger and allowed cultures of the non antibiotic resistant grow on the auger. I did it 3 years ago in a biology lab, I'll try and find the lab paper because it was a very tedious process to explain. I know it involved some type of electrophoresis to entice the bacteria to accept the viral RNA splice.

I highly doubt you have any experience with virology. But if you do, you would know that something like a rabies/flu hybrid virus may be difficult, but is very possible. Especially with dedicated scientists who would be at work on it, day and night.

You seem to want unobtainable proof for this rabies mutation theory. Well, why not give us proof you "mutated Viral RNA"? Is it because you won't, or is it because you can't? If you are serious, you can give proof of yourself much easier than the proof you are asking we give you. Proof which would require top-secret, covered up data and/or private lab/hospital/police records.

But all you are saying is that a brand new form of rabies exists, awesome prove it then. Your not all your are saying is that rabies which in dogs correlates to the symptoms that these people have expressed in their cannibalistic attacks. Rabies in humans cause dysphagia, (difficulty swallowing), encephalitis, muscle spasms, convulsions, and death. Combativeness and excitability in humans does also occur but it is a rare symptom. So while on the outside it is possible that a person with rabies could have attacked someone. However the muscle spasms and nerve damage and more than likely going to cause a person to not attack someone after the symptoms express themselves. Rabies is also very rare in humans now with vaccinations becoming more and more used in the wild. 1-2 people a year die in America from rabies.

I'll find my lab from it, or see if I can. I never said I was virology major or anything like that. All I said is that I mutated genetically mutated bacteria using a virus as the splice. My background is more in cellular anatomy and genetics. Yes Viruses do mutate because they reproduce quickly, however rabies is becoming increasingly rare in America due to vaccines. I can ask for unobtainable proof because I didn't present the theory, therefore the burden of proof is not on me it is on the OP.

I have to go to work, so I wont be able to post whatever proof you guys want right now. However I did find an online lab that is essentially the same thing I did.

Well good, I can see that while you were very vague, and have admitted it was in a biology lab, you do have a grasp on some things.

You also may be able to realize that not all viral symptoms are expressed, and that \encephalitis can and often is the cause for many neurological and behavorial symptoms in an infected person.

No offense, but that BS meter needs a little bit more work. It has been proven that individuals that are in constant fear operate at a lower neural frequency, making them more susceptible to suggestion and less likely to be able to rationally discern the big picture. ie. Keep people looking over their shoulders so they can't see what's right in front of them. Unwarranted fear truly is the "mind-killer" (Fear Factory song).
