Baltic Sea USO: 3D Sonar reveals perfectly straight lines and angles embedded into the structure

Why couldn't people with scientific backgrounds have found this? Go onto the website and now it's interviews and publicity. These guys are and will, milking this for every single grubby penny they can get out of it.

I'm not saying this is a hoax, just pointing out more information, fuel for the fire so to say. If I had to say one way or the other, I don't think it's a natural rock formation... but I don't know what it is.

Well I can just hear it now. "But of course they hired an actor, its a TV show!".
Nonetheless, that is interesting information.

The Guerrilla Explorer is apparently another treasure hunter, so he should know something about the business.
I have visited his site a number of times to read updates.

If anyone paid any attention, a couple of days ago the owner of ATS made a post which pointed out that much of the developments of this story was being driven by the TV show that is in production.

I'm still of the opinion that this might be a hoax - no real anomaly at all. Since so far, I don't see anything that confirms there really is "an anomaly". All we have to go by is a couple of sonar images (has any expert confirmed they are real?), and a few fuzzy underwater photos that could really be taken almost anywhere (its TV, they do use "sets" for TV, right) Either that, or they are issuing updates that are deliberately contradictory. It is possible, that much of this is a combination of "translation errors" and over zealous TV production scriptwriting.

I guess we'll "get some answers" when the TV show is broadcast...

As for the guerrilla explorer link, the guy was an extra in a movie a 7 years ago, I don't know how that could ruin anyones credibility.

Hello friends, I have not written anything here in a while, can maybe be explained by the fact that I have really been out there... I will drop you some of my believes:

1. I do not believe that the circle is a wreckage of an flying craft from WWII till rescent time (or from some thousands of year back for that matter)

2. I do not believe the circle is a wreckage of any kind of known floating vessels from the past or from modern time.

3. I do not belive the cicle is a construction made by someone efter the ice age (submarine bases etc included).

4. I do belive the surface of the circle is made of mineral.

5. I do belive that the surface looks like concrete through the ROV camera but I do not belive it's made of concrete.

6. I do belive that the very strait lines and angular formations we can see on the side scan sonar image from last year really excists. The odd thing is that I thought, before this expedition that when we could get close these shapes maybe should appear not being so straight as on the side scan sonar image, in reality they are even straighter! It really looks like constructed parts on the circle.

7. I do belive it might have been volcanic activity in the area and even on (or in) the circle after the ice age, or before, but then it do not fit with what we know about the ice age.

8. I do belive that the circle "rests" on top of what looks like an pilar of rock, raising approx 8 meters above the surrounding bottom. The circle it self appears to be approx 4 meters thick. In other words, the top of the circle raises 12 meters above the surrounding bottom.

9. I do belive we must find out on the next expedition if the circle and the pilar are fixed in one piece or if they are sepparated in some way.

10. I do belive that the path, or the track, is a ridge raising slowly up from the bottom to a hight of approx 8 meters above the surrounding bottom. I also belive that the ridge is made of softer material than the pilar and the circle.

What I do not belive because I know, is the fact that we found a round hole approx 25 cm in diamater going straight into the surface of the circle, how odd is not that? How deep? No idea, we just saw it for some seconds before we decided to back off to preserv the visibility for the divers that was going down later on. They did not find the hole though. It might be some more holes, at this moment we do not know.

I wasn''t being sarcastic. I was simply pointing out that the "anomaly" is quite possibly nothing but a concept for the purposes of constructing a TV show. We know that they are making a TV show. We now know that one of the co-founders of "Ocean X" appears to be an actor? So if you are making a TV show, of course you need actors, and sets, and script writers and publicity.

I have been holding off my opinion as to what this is until we see a little more detail and a more evidence. Since seeing the original so called “Millennium Falcon” sonar I was highly skeptical that this was anything but a unique rock formation.

That began to change when they suggested it was mushroom shaped and then released this image of the meringue started to change my mind

I am still holding out for more proof but at this point I am open to this being either man-made or a natural formation that has been modified. That said I am would neither call this a UFO or totally dismiss this as something unatural and very interesting!

Very fascinating find. What's more surprising is more information on the anomaly is allowed to be shared to the public.

I wonder how long it has been there. Because, that would explain the texture if it was there for 100s of years

i'm still inclined to think it may be an ancient (man-made) structure of some kind. but i don't know for certain yet. the on(and on)going story remains interesting though.

You also keep throwing in the "it's going to be on a show, therefor everyone is a liar to get money" lame excuse to derail the thread.

From their "About X-Team'' page you can see for yourself, the Ocean X team has been doing this for 20 years. So, by your logic, 20 years ago they had the idea to hoax something 20 years in the future to get a movie made to make money. Pretty weak argument for not following a story to see what develops.

As pointed out several times, he was an extra in a show 7 years ago which is hardly considered an actor, and what's this 'of course they hired an actor thing?' He has been on the Ocean X team since 1994...

Let's put every subject that was turned into a documentary into the trash shall we? That includes anything about Egypt, space, diseases, war and anything else you can think of because those had "actors" and made money.
