Yet again a common misconception. If one is well read enough on the matter they find it cropped up in just a severe manner around the world with non Abrahamic faiths

In your OP you stated that you have read the various holy books. My question is, do you feel that reading is sufficient to be considered an authority on a subject or should there be some level of comprehension and understanding along with discernment to accompany your formulation of opinions?

What you are attempting to convey here, is that I do not understand the material I have read. Also, that I lack comprehension with regards to said topics and that I am an authority on this topic.

This is to all of you who will criticize me.

I KNOW you are irrevocably without QUESTION 100% incorrect

If you KNOW I am wrong, then cite your reasons. Not just a video of a guy who claims to be able to smell satan in people

Alright well I will try my best here. What do you think about the lives the apostles led after the death of Jesus? If it was all a shame and he was some kind of trickster, wouldn't they stop the gig once he was gone? These men were not "crazy" or apt to believe in minor tricks. Yet, all of them would go to the grave believing in what they had witnessed. Some would be crucified. In spite of this they continued to talk about Jesus. What are your thoughts?

You are quoting Wikipedia as a source which discounts any credibility you had previously. If you speak to an islamic leader, or an imam, they will tell you islam is not an abrahamic religion. I might be wrong, would not be the first time, but citing Wikipedia is not really a good defense.

I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be. Go to an Imam yourself and you will find out.

Angry much?

You may not have come right out and said it, but you presented yourself as an authority with the listing of your credentials in your OP as if it would impress anyone that you are literate.

As for my comment, I simply asked a question based on your OP. It is my understanding that these religions have been studied for ages without any concrete facts resulting. To simply read the books seems inadequate to develop such a deep rooted thesis. Perhaps you read these books with preconceived notions with a slanted bias?

An example from one of your posts indicates that a 900 (wrong age) year old "idiot" (Noah) gathered all the animals. This statement only served to prove my point in terms of reading comprehension- for the book states that God gathered all the animals TO Noah.

Further, when on topic rebuttals are posted, you are strangely silent.

A good one, thank you. Presented with this type of situation, I would have to ask you, what makes you think these men are not crazy and they are speaking the truth and what is written in the bible is correct, then why did they wait so long to record it?

If these things truly did happen and of course it is a huge if as none of us were around back then, then I do not think I would have any right to say what happened and what did not.

But the words of the apostles and the followers of Jesus have been so twisted and contorted through thousands of years of Kings, popes, and other political leaders twisting the words into what they wanted others to hear or see, that it is difficult to take it at face value.

Thank you op. Im sick of people preaching christian nonsense to me, but the way they talk is incredible. They quote scriptures to people who dont even believe in the bible. They quote it like its a universally known truth. Not only that, but the chapter/verse numbering system in the bible is being used to take scriptures out of context. And what you find if you look these things up in their original language is incredibly sickening. The bible has been repeatedly translated by evil people who change what it says to fit their agenda. For example, the bible never once mentions gay people.

Anyway the thread "why new agers are spiritually dead, not awakened" is a good example of this preaching scriptures as universal truths.

My favorite is when they prove the bible is true by quoting the bible where it claims to be true. What? Also, im continously told about all these prophecies that came true in jesus 2 millenia ago. How do i know this?

Im a buddhist. I dont preach to people and prove to them my religion is right and all this crap. I usually just bring up some of my beliefs without admitting to the label. Ive helped people with temporary high blood pressure pass dot physicals through meditation before. In fact one older man laughed in my face when i told him to meditate and how to meditate. A little while later he thanks me and says it worked. We are required to have the top number under 145 and a little stress from the day will easily raise someone with normal blood pressure over that.

I wish people would stop trying to force their beliefs on others.

By the way which major religion has never started a war?

1. I am strangely quiet because I am busy responding to others.

2. Point out the exact scripture passage where it indicates God brought the animals to Noah.

3. Is it fundamentally necessary for me to indicate the priests, imams, religious leaders and so forth that I have spoken with by name, phone number, address, favorite breakfast cereal?

I have spoken with several individuals from these sectors and they could not provide me with any answers so I came here, hoping someone could provide a valid, legitimate argument.

Good point. However some of them held some what high rankings jobs which would have made it difficult, at least in my opinion, to be crazy. Matthew the tax collector, Judas a banker. Not to mention that years later these same Apostles would create believers out of many, thus showing some signs of capable thought. These men seemed to be rational people, some of them not believing Jesus at face value, such as the case with doubting Thomas. Even after seeing everything he had up to that point he still could not believe that Jesus had risen again.

Versus you citing what? Oh that's right nothing but yes saying "go talk to a guy": is a reasonable answer. certainly more worthy than quick wiki search

iloveimamrabbani.wordpress.com...

Together with Judaism, they go back to the prophet and patriarch Abraham,

www.muslim-forum.org...

They trace their roots to Abraham thus they are Abrahamic. I'm sure there are a few who distinguish themselves differently but all three faiths are known to splinter off in so many different views.

This is from the King James Version Genesis 6:19-20
19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort SHALL COME UNTO THEE, to keep them alive.

ALL religions and ALL wars are Illuminati tools:

The Synagogue of Satan

One group and one group alone is responsible for virtually all wars and bloodshed on the face of this planet. This evil cabal is few in numbers but, like a deadly octopus, its tentacles reach out to grip and strangle untold multitudes of innocent victims. The initiates of every secret society and internationalist organization, from the Council on Foreign Relations and the Jesuits to the Bilderbergers and the Order of Skull & Bones, obey the dictates of this sinister group and tremble when standing before its leaders.

The cabalist group I refer to is the Synagogue of Satan, an ancient, yet modern, elite so politically powerful and so fabulously wealthy that even past history has been twisted, reshaped, and revised to meet its preferred version of humanity's gloomy, totalitarian future.

Religious in nature, the Synagogue of Satan is, at its essence, a grotesque, satanic cult. It's high council is composed of High Priests of Lucifer; these are men who literally worship death while practicing sexual magick and occult rituals of the blackest nature. LINK

IMO the existence of a religious entity is impossible to prove. I think it is what divides science and faith. If it were provable it would be easy
