And to be honest..... as much as I respect Mr. DeGrasse, I have to say he's just being a dick in that clip.

It doesn't happen often but I totally agree with your above statement

A comedian he is not .

This isn't "Amazing" .. it looks like something in tow on an air plane or something .. it's most likely mundane, as always seems to be the case.. I don't see how we can label it as "Amazing" since all it is are two red lights behind a blinking light.. there's a million terrestrial things it could be..

I never for the life of me understood how someone could rush to the most unlikely conclusions without first considering the most probable .. it makes little sense to me..

I saw a tv show recently on netflix, fact or fiction I think? and they tried to replicate a number of UFO sightings on the episodes and in at least two of them, when they did their testing it generated mass calls to local police stations reporting UFO's ... that tells you something =) .. in one case it was paratroopers with flares attached, in another it was an inflatable UFO tethered to a truck .. people see what they want to see and shows like that only prove it further.

We've seen the stories of people using UFO looking craft as advertisement or viral marketing as well .. in this day and age you really need some common sense and not be so quick to think "EEP! ALIENS!" ..

Being that this is night time and only a few lights are visible, it's just not amazing.. show me a day time photo of something that can't be rationally explained for some reason and I'll be more impressed, but even then it's often been explained eventually..

Yes it may prove that people will jump to those conclusions but, that show is a joke. Just because you can recreate a video doesn't always mean the actual footage was faked.

If i had a video, that i KNOW i recorded and, know for a fact i saw something in the sky and, they had recreated the video i made. then tried to tell me "oh, yeah we recreated it, so yeah its fake, you lied". i would be insulted.

IMHO, Those people are just as fake as some of the videos they try to debunk.

While it is kind of a cool thing to see I don't understand why everyone jumps immediately to UFO. When I look at that I think immediately balloons with flares and/or LED lights. I am not very tech savvy and I could whip up the same thing with about fifty bucks and a couple of hours. If I had a little more time, money and was somewhat more educated in mechanics and electronics I could whip up a really good one. I might even add in some weird audio just for fun. (I have thought about this often.)

BTW, I am a hard and fast believer in UFOs. This just isn't one of them.

Kudos to the hoaxers.

People immediately jump to UFO, because that's what it is, an U.nidentified F.lying O.bject. Its nothing more or less until it can be identified. Is it ours or is it alien? who knows so untill then its a UFO.

Ah, you want to be a hoaxer. Such a worthwhile ambition, and a valuable contribution to society. Congratulations.

This is old video. I live in American Fork and the videos shows snow on the ground and the video was taken at night. It's 90+ degrees and sunny and the sun doesn't go down until 9 pm. I think we have an ols story being recycled. By the way.......I've seen people release Chinese Lanterns from the school field across the street that show the same effects. Smells like hoax!

I think that aliens exist. Of course they exist. However, that does not mean that the lights we see in the sky are alien in origin. In all likelihood, the majority are hoaxes. I think this likely, because I really doubt, highly doubt, that alien's with advanced technology wouldn't have the capability to travel unnoticed.

Provided that the supposed ET's even care whether they are noticed or not, that is.
It might very well be that they do not care at all.

I think if genuine UFOs from space are spotted more in America; it is because we are egotistical, dangerous, and armed. We don't care, we'll take the world with us, if it comes down to a dog fight. That's just the way it is. America has always been the big bully on the block. Every president is a hawkish war president in the US, because we won't let anyone forget it. If aliens exist, I'm sure that they are aware of it also. I'd be keeping an eye on us too.

Depends on what you consider as "America", but if you include Mexico, that is situated in the North American Plate, then I would say that Mexico actually have the most sightings.
Or atleast they had earlier on, some years ago. and was considered the "hotspot for UFO sightings".

As for being egoistic and dangerous, that accounts for the whole of Humanity and not some specific spot, except for perhaps one or another Buddhist group.

That's very strange but I don't see anything that suggests it's not something to do with humans. Also, just because someone was in the military does not mean they can exclude military technology. It could very well be a confidential military test of some sort.

Let's not forget that the Military does not have authority over the US skies during peace time. That's the FAA's regulated space which is not only non-military, it's arguably ANTI-military. We won't be seeing what they ARE testing, AND, we won't be seeing it anywhere near populated cities. Strange lights are STRANGE lights, unexplainable and until IDENTIFIED, unidentified objects that are not on the ground but are "FLYING".

It's not possible to know the true colour with a mobile, but my guess is that the deep red is much lighter. It's likely as Gortex says, that it is a prank. How, what appears to be a pretty crappy flare, got detached from the red light source, is anybody's guess. On the subject of this otherwise being an alien ufo, what I don't get, is why these ufo alien guys go round the sky doing this Non compos mentis stuff, and making more similar scratchings on the ground. Have they never heard of radio waves, or pick up a 'phone even?? It makes no sense to arse about the sky, or makes doodles on the ground in such an ambiguous way.

I think you should know that I know that. I am saying, look at their numbers, the ones in the US and Mexico, Peru and mostly in the US are times more than anywhere else there in the world. The daily reports which in most cases are nothing are also mostly in the US, yes you people watch movies too much

Yawn yawn lights in the night sky. Could be absolutely anything. Now here's a logic test for you. Why don't "the aliens" make an appearance during the day? Let me guess because they don't want to be seen. If that is the case why have fricking lights!. So here we are : if the lights are on crafts of alien origin and thus they have no fear of making themselves seen there is absolutely no reason for them appearing during daylight hours.

Conclusion : they are lights of unknown earthly (and probably exceptionally mundane) origin.

And this conclusion applies to every single night time lights in the sky video.

Yes they could be anything and since we don't know what they are, an investigation is worth it, otherwise how could we turn it from a UFO to an IFO or determine if its a hoax for that matter? Also about daytime UFOs, i have seen one during the day. it was high noon and not a cloud in the sky, i saw a bright ball of what look like light or really bright white. It did a few crazy maneuvers and then shut up at an angle and out of site.

Personally I don't give a damn how long you have been a member. Whoop de friggin doo. I have been lurking on this site long enough to know that ANY UFO or ET experience posted on here will be ridiculed and debunked ad nauseum. It's really quite ridiculous.

It's always the same crap with debunkers. CGI, Chinese lanterns, flares, missile launch blah blah blah. The people who actually have genuine experiences are so ridiculed and looked down on by you know it all debunkers I'm surprised anyone posts their experiences on here.

Go try to lord the "seniority" card over someone else. Cuz I personally don't care. I do my research and unlike you try to keep my mind receptive and open. Good day.

Helium balloons and fireworks on fishing line? Wow. That's a whole lot of research there. Sounds to me like baseless speculations. I guess its easier than admitting you don't know what it is. Rather sad if you ask me.
