ABC4 News Amazing Footage of a UFO sighting over Utah

Apparently UFOs were spotted over Utah and it made the news, anybody have anymore info on this?

Doesn't look like flares or sky divers to me and the lights made no noise.

WOW, nice find, have to say that is actually the best close up footage from multiple cameras i have seen...........now, what is it, is it our or theirs, when will someone really start talking that is in a position of power.

That's very strange but I don't see anything that suggests it's not something to do with humans. Also, just because someone was in the military does not mean they can exclude military technology. It could very well be a confidential military test of some sort.

Valid point, however the military don't tend to test secret operations in populated areas, would kind of defeat the purpose of the operation

Mabey the Military (or Aliens) are trying to desentaize us to strange happenings or get us used to seeing strange things. Then when UFO's show up we are more accepting of them. Instead of shoot first then ask questions.

Not a bad video at all as to what it is i have no idea, i think there reports of ufos like this back in the day. ill try to find some links when i get back home unless someone beats me to it. thanks for posting s&f for sure...

I think its likely this was a military exercise

Perhaps new technology of some kind, super quite attack helicopters from a distance? the sparkling flare things being dropped don't look very ET to me,

Certainly not lanterns dropping flares tho, people tend to forget lanterns are near impossible to see from more than a few hundred meters away and certainly wont be picked up on your average camera from an even closer distance, also they tend to always rise at an angle and never travel in striate/horizontal lines at low altitudes, some guy on my street literally set of up to 100 lanterns a year "probably more" which fly directly past my window and over my house, and into the sky at the front of my house where by then they get faint then invisible to the naked eye,

The get let of a few blocks at the back of my house by the time they're passing my window they're very faint on the camera and not noticeable at all by the time they have passed over the house, i've personally compared the footage of these orange/red orbs my self and i'm happy that almost all of the orb UFO's could not possibly be lanterns, there behaviour is totally different

This isn't "Amazing" .. it looks like something in tow on an air plane or something .. it's most likely mundane, as always seems to be the case.. I don't see how we can label it as "Amazing" since all it is are two red lights behind a blinking light.. there's a million terrestrial things it could be..

I never for the life of me understood how someone could rush to the most unlikely conclusions without first considering the most probable .. it makes little sense to me..

I saw a tv show recently on netflix, fact or fiction I think? and they tried to replicate a number of UFO sightings on the episodes and in at least two of them, when they did their testing it generated mass calls to local police stations reporting UFO's ... that tells you something =) .. in one case it was paratroopers with flares attached, in another it was an inflatable UFO tethered to a truck .. people see what they want to see and shows like that only prove it further.

We've seen the stories of people using UFO looking craft as advertisement or viral marketing as well .. in this day and age you really need some common sense and not be so quick to think "EEP! ALIENS!" ..

Being that this is night time and only a few lights are visible, it's just not amazing.. show me a day time photo of something that can't be rationally explained for some reason and I'll be more impressed, but even then it's often been explained eventually..

If you connect the light dots with a invisible line, it soon becomes apparent the light is not moving much.
Did you edit the footage? It looks like the lower red light turned white but not before the camera leaves the frame for a second or so. How did the light change from red to white?

Wouldn't it have bin amazing if it somehow generated enough light for us to actually see the object responsible for these weird lights. They always know how to get noticed without giving away to much.. not fair!!!

The problem is there is no frame of reference so we can't know how far up in the sky they are.. if it's high enough you may not hear them .. secondly it could just be lights hanging from something floating in the sky, wouldn't be the first time someone has pulled something like that .. I've even heard of people tethering lanterns or balloons with lights to each other.. I am NOT saying that is what it is but I'm saying it very well could be .. so I don't see the rush for people to assume it's alien .. we all should know by now it's probably not.. it still wins the official title of UFO however only because it's flying, it's an object ( or objects ) and it's not identified.

Well i must agree there, without a visibly present background actually showing the speed of the objects it truly gets harder to identify what it is. As you could do this trick with human made equipment, and probably get some good results, i still think its a great find, would have loved to be there when it happened.

You are just trolling for an argument ......The UFO/UFOs made no sound, they apear to be ow enought to have heard aircraft noise.....
You see planes travel at thirthy plus thousand all the time and still hear them....get a grip.....stealth choppers maybe, but aircraft not a chance..........
The bright descending objects remind me of all the fireballs we have seen since the abomb was used on Hiroshima,
The UFOs have a history of launching such things................i suspect they are drones of some type.

I believe what we are seeing in the video are Helium balloons with flares attached , kinda like this .

I don't see any problem using the adjective of "Amazing." At no point in the video did I see anything that was "mundane."

If they were flares .... then they were some Amazing flares.

You see ..... when it comes to this subject there is usually 2 groups people fall into.

1st group: People who flat out refuse all testimony and anecdotal evidence. They have absolutely no doubt that Aliens have never been to earth and won't be here for a very long time.

2nd group: People who are 100% aware that some form of Alien/ET/ED interaction is happening everyday on planet Earth.

Of course there is some gray in between the groups but for the most part ... that's how it is.

You seem to want to take every single UFO report and dismiss it and reduce it down to some "mundane" explanation that fits in your psyche.

Fact is..... none of us know what it was in the video ..... to me ...saying it might be Alien isn't that far out.

I live in Utah and have seen sh** that has no explanation other than what is considered fringe. We are surrounded by Military bases on all sides ....... directly east of the sighting is a place called Skinwalker Ranch.... which has its own share of mysteries .

The man who recorded the video was in the Air Force and gave his opinion on what it was not.

The way you criticize witnesses and videos .... you should have just taken his opinion and thrown it to the ground and spit on it .... then call him an idiot.

Looks like someone want to get our attention, in a big way. Being dark one can not make out the shape of the craft. If the red lights are any indication I would think they had length, one at each end. Going to be interesting one way or another.

AMERICA, WHY U ONLY SEE UFOS???? TV obsession much? How many are the UFO cases in Americas compared to the rest of the continents, ratio 100:1 for America? That should tell you something - that the majority of UFOs are military due to the large presence or a lot of parachutists and gliders in the US!

Or because the majority of Americans are morons and ofc they do such Hellion balloon hoaxes more than in other continents? The video with the He balloons, looked like a real triangular UFO, now that is how deceiving these hoaxes can be.
