You forgot one:
Wicca:
As you harm none, do as thou wish. And we follow this rule to the letter at all times.

The good thing about the golden rule is that it is self-evident. It doesn't even matter who or what religion preached it because everyone should be of sound enough mind to know this already. It's so plainly obvious one should not even have to put it into words for it to mean something.

I try to.
Sometimes I judge people harshly and treat them according to how they treat others.

I think Itisnowagain is saying, let go of the self which you feel is not perfect and realize your true self. Your true self is as perfect as it can be and cannot be worked on or cultivated. The self you feel must be worked on to make perfect will never be perfect because it is an illusion, a mistake in perception. Lose the illusion and you will automatically live by the Golden Rule without any effort or intention or striving needed.
Peace in the middle east.

"Thankyou for presenting this as a global philosophy. I would go one further and posit that this rule is in fact a universal law. In Spirit - all is one, there is no separation.
I am You, You are Me. We are One
It is only an illusion that we are separate.
Peace Out - Love to All
Ned"
I agree 100%! This simple little rule, philosophy, belief , is whats going to bring us all together in my opinion.
I appreciate the thanks but I don't really deserve any credit here.

Be wary of the Onenists. I am not you. You are not me. We are not guilty by association. We are unique beings who exist and die only once.

My fellow rebel, the true self is not like a manicured and contrived garden that a human has created and must maintain, it is more like the wild and uncontrived beauty of a jungle. A garden is more like the 'false' self, one can spend years sweating and suffering on their knees in the hot sun, planting flowers and cutting away weeds, and at the end of the day if they are not too tired to enjoy reflecting upon it, then some happiness may arise. Even then, sooner or later this garden will no longer be. And so by remaining in bondage to this 'false' self we work our tails off just to enjoy a few brief moments of satisfaction. The true self is unpredictable and uncontrived like a forest is, it cannot be limited to or by qualities such as suffering or happiness. No one needs to maintain a great rain forest, it maintains itself. Still this is not a great analogy because unlike the true self, with enough time a rain forest can and will be destroyed. The true self is beyond time and space, beyond all conditions and qualities.edit on 18-6-2012 by LifeIsEnergy because: (no reason given)
