China will Decimate the US Naval Fleet

Not to look like a warmonger because another war for most any reason is NOT what any of us need, but... the Chinese decimating the US fleet AAAAHAHAHAHAHA, Oh God stop my sides are hurting now. REAALLY?!

Would never happen. I have a Father that was in the Navy, and friends currently in the Navy. We could sink an entire Chinese flotilla and they wouldn't even know how it happened. China has a big case of alligator mouth, and humming bird ass. They have to sound bad to posture for the rest of the world, but they are at least 20 years behind us in Naval warfare.

If we put a bunch of green recruits in a bunch of outdated vietnam era tin cans, and let them have at it.
It might be an even match, but I'd still vote for our boys even in that scenario.

And, we could do that years ago. Today, no adversary would want to be subjected to what would come out of the hangars in a real attack, let alone what would get fired off the ships or come out of space. The resources in our war games today are secret for a reason.

I don't exactly fear the military of a nation that cannot make my products to any respectable quality and whose economy seems wholeheartedly based off slave economics.

China is a prototype for feudal corporatism. And as far as I can tell, a war with China would be devastating economically for both sides, but with all those slaves out of a job, how long do you expect China to remain operational? We're talking tens of millions of people spread across the nation suddenly with nothing to lose, nothing to gain, and nothing to do. That's like, the perfect situation for internal war.

I am not saying if we would loose or win against china. My crystal ball is in the shop .
But as the quote up above says I am hearing from many here that you have either forgotten or refuse to remember where this misguided arrogance has gotten us in the past.

WWI a little nation known as germany had us tied up in a no-win land war and almost won in no small part to a little device known as a SUBMARINE that darn neared starved out our allies.

World War II

We thought germany was a 3rd rate power but due to aircraft, armored warfare and tactics they rolled over anything we threw at them and again darn near with submarines starved out england. They were shooting up our ships in the gulf and east coast like a shooting gallery. They also had (but not used) nerve gas, and developing the atomic bomb ahead of us.

The supposidly "inferior" japanese launched pearl harbor and decimated our fleet. If our carriers were there we would have had NO WAY to strike back for YEARS.

We were loosing battle after battle with them untill due to skill and good amount of luck we got a turning point at the battle of midway.

Thanks to the breathing room of distance we were able to gear up and almost catch up technologically to germany/japan that enabled their eventual defeat. We were also lucky that hitler was a megloaniac and attacked russia as well.

In Korea we AGAIN got a suprise by the russian MIG-15 which like germany in WWII blew the doors off anything we had in the air. The only difference is they had enough of them to directly threaten and hurt us.

We also almost got the crap kicked out of us when the "experts" did not see the millions of chinese that attacked our lines and drove us back.

Vietnam we again were getting ourselves beaten by what was supposedly a "rag tag" group of fighters. Again we ran into technology (ex sam systems) that was beating our technology.

Time and time again our arrogance has cost us dearly and forced us to relearn the lessons of the past on catching up to the threat. Each time it has cost us lives and money.

We need to realise not to underestimate our enemy and be lulled into a false sense of security that we can "beat anything they have".

The time we needed in the past due to distance and manufacuring capability to recover from our arrogance has been shrunk enormously.

I again do not know if we will be defeated or not.

But I do know we cannot absorb the losses in manpower and material like we could in the past while we recover from our mistakes.

If we don't prepare, be willing to admit the threat they posess, remember the technology/weapons they have (and may have), and our own weaknesses (be it satelite dependency, lack of resorces/manpower, ect) we may have a pearl harbor we cannot recover from.

War is comming to the Australasia region for sure, no thanks to the United States for getting in other countries faces.

I honestly believe that Australia should abandon it's alliances with theUS and take up with China.. "Hey I go where the money is and the US ain't got any"..lol

China actually owns a great deal of holdings in Australia, from mines, to prime produce, water assets, production industry and much more.

I am no communist, I can assure you. My personal belief is that Money talks and BullS%#t walks..!!

The US is full of crap and China is full of Money, so it's a no-brainer.

The only reason the US is gettin in China's face is because they owe China trillions of MOOLA and don't want to pay.. In doing so, the US will keep pushing and screw it up for a lot of the countries in the region, whom have not been so badly hit by the economical crisis and are doing business with China.

Australia, New Zealand, Japan and a number of other countries in the region rely on China in a huge way. Much of our workforce down here work for the Chinese "particulaly the mining industry" and we are paied very well.

Why should we support the US and its bullying ideology?

They do not belong in the region and really need to butt out...!!

The only way that WW3 will break out is if the United States backs either Russia or China into a corner that gives them no alternative but to attack the US. That war will be a nuclear war with long term world wide consequences and tremendous numbers of casualties.

If it were not for the effects of nuclear fallout, I think we would have already had that war by now.

Personally, I don't think we will have WW3, but we will have a period of American military agression designed to take over middle eastern oil fields and the natural resources of Africa. (Almost everybody knows that has already started.)

This is a problem for China most of all but not really a serious long term problem, except to their self esteem. They can still trade cheap manufacturing labour for much of what they need in resources and they still do corner most of the market in rare earth metals. America's action though, does restrict them from becoming a big, fat headed exploiter of the poor and of the resource rich but underdeveloped, as it would like to be, following America's example. That's how you turn a profit, after all, in a world without divine retribution.

The Western Oligarchy is eventually going to have to come to terms with a much more formidable opponent than the Russians or the Chinese or its own insatiable material demands. It will inevitably find itself face to face with its own spiritual poverty. When it finally starts to deal with that, hope for real improvment in the lot of everyone might start to become realistic.

My worst fear is that the maniacs at the top just decide for the hell of it, to clear the table, kill hundreds of millions of people doing so and simply start the whole game over again, under new conditions. Are they that self absorbed and that self confident? I sure hope not.

China has a more active space program than the US. China is going to the moon. China will now have its J20 super fighter deployed in 2018, well before the US ever fields the inferior JSF.

Most of the US fighters were built during the Reagan era. They are rapidly being removed from service as their airframes fatigue. If you look at the trend, not at current numbers, the US Air Force is in steep decline.

Royal Dutch Shell just gave the Philippines a check for over $1 Billion for the natural gas in the sea near the Philippines...from under that island both the Philippines and China are claiming.

Britain also just said they are giving the Philippines $1.5 Billion "to make whiskey" in the Philippines. Rolls Royce, Nestle, and a whole strew of other Corporations are also dumping Billions into the Philippines.

The Philippines WAS going to buy a squadron of F-16's from America but just released a PR statement saying hell no, maintenance costs on those old birds are too high. They are buying BRAND NEW fighters...

The US did enter WWII full force. The US started building war factories in 1939 (I worked at a factory that was built in 1939), but the US was militarily so weak at the start of the war that US could not have made any impact in 1939. Also, it was not clear there would be a world war, until Hitler invaded France. The British position being to threaten war, unless Hitler agreed to withdraw from Poland, which Hitler refused to do. The so called phony war. Hitler would have lost to the Soviet Union whether or not the US, UK and Canada and others fought on the Western front, but the war would have been longer, which means greater losses for both sides. Of course, the Soviet Union then would also have been in total control of the Continent. The UK did have huge production of fighter aircraft during the war, and had superb technology, including radar, fighters, jet engines, advanced warships.
Eisenhower probably made the correct call on Suez. This did not end the British Empire, which the British government had been deliberately dissolving, as empire in the modern age no longer made any sense.

From what I gather with everything happening with Russia, Syria, Iran, China, and Korea...I think WWIII is completely unavoidable. I can't see any resolution ending positively. I actually think Isreal will attack Iran before the November elections...at the latest December, and that will trigger China and Russia's response. An attack on Iran is completely unavoidable, just like the proxy war being fought in Syria between Russia and the US.

I've never been more certain of a third world war than I am right now.
