On the other hand, not all philosophies or religions are equally dangerous.

I wouldn't rank Buddhism as being as dangerous as Nazism for instance.

How do you think they manage to start the wars? Because of RELIGION (for the most part.) People are deluded in their own beliefs to not ever care what happens to this planet and its creatures because they got some magical place to go after death or think they will become one with the universe or some crap like that. Being religious has its entanglements.

If no one was religious or had any conflicting beliefs we would have already united long ago against the hordes of government. But since governments find that religion makes one docile as a result most of the world is religious, and therefore blind to the problems around us. This is why religion is dangerous and largely welcomed by governments/leaders. It makes us even more susceptible to BS.

I guess it was my fault but i wasn;t really commenting on this thread more the fact that all his post have racial hate, or atleast some type of hate, as the reason he posts. Im pretty certain ATS is being massively trolled.

A mob of hundreds of men assaulted women holding a march demanding an end to sexual harassment Friday, with the attackers overwhelming the male guardians and groping and molesting several of the female marchers in Cairo's Tahrir Square.

Friday's march was called to demand an end to sexual assaults. Around 50 women participated, surrounded by a larger group of male supporters who joined to hands to form a protective ring around them. The protesters carried posters saying, "The people want to cut the hand of the sexual harasser," and chanted, "The Egyptian girl says it loudly, harassment is barbaric."

After the marchers entered a crowded corner of the square, a group of men waded into the women, heckling them and groping them. The male supporters tried to fend them off, and it turned into a melee involving a mob of hundreds

A 2008 report by the Egyptian Center for Women's Rights says two-thirds of women in Egypt experienced sexual harassment on a daily basis. That explains it. I have been looking for the peace in Islam and you are telling me there is none. The only thing I could find that was peaceful would be like after some Muslims chopped someone’s head off. Then they looked peaceful. Therefore, when they say Islam religion of peace, it is something that really does not exist. It is enough to make you loose faith in this religion. I am still hoping to find the peace in this thing called Islam. . I guess that is why people are accusing us of spewing hate, when talking about Islam that is all there is to talk about.

Common don’t you think I have learned anything from studding Islam that is the old shift the blame game. You had to go back to Genesis in the Bible to show how a man should control a woman. Not that is makes any difference I happen to be Christian which makes me a follower of Christ and not necessarily every letter of the outdated Old Testament.

All motivated by greed and a desire to control. If any religious person understands the biography of Mohamed, there is only one of two conclusions that can be drawn.
1 Mohammed never communicated with a higher power. This would explain why his spiritual revelations only came at a time to suit his needs. It also explains many of the silly hadiths in the text.
2 If you believe Mohammed communicated with an angel, you can be 100% sure, it was not Gabriel.
