Sorry, didn't have the time to read all the posts and I really don't care if you read mine. Personally I believe this country was founded on Christianity. If you don't like it , get out. I don't care for Muslims, especially those that want to come here and change our way of life. Again, if you don't like the way we do things, get out. Women shouldn't wear burkas on drivers licenses, prayer should not be conducted in intersections and airports. If you want to pray 5 times a day, move to Saudi Arabia where the only religion allowed is Islam. It is pure Islamophobia. All religions preach peace and tolerance but they are used as a tool to justify horrific actions by horrific people. Whether it be the Holy Bible or the Quran, there are many peaceful and enlightening chapters and stories in both but you also see the dark side of God's wrath for the non believers. If you ever visit an Islamic country you will find the general population are not uncivilized or filled with anger and hate. They are people like you or me who just want to get on in life and live peacefully with other fellow human beings. It is the minority in any civilization who want to kill and make other people suffer but it does exist in all societies whether it be Islamic, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu or Atheist. Some people love to fight and some people have to fight, that's the way it is. It is society and civilization that has the minority of troublemakers who want to make wars and rape and pillage, and all religions will and have been used to justify this at some point. It ebbs and flows, today it's Islam next it's Judaism then Christianity. We just have to live with the fact that there are bad people out there who will use or believe anything to justify their crimes. Islam has been involved in many conflicts just like many other major religions, just because they are involved in quite a few today doesn't mean that the religion isn't one that teaches peace. George Bush said God told him to invade Iraq and Afghanistan and now through his religious beliefs we started bombing Muslim populations in the middle east. The west bombs Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia and their weapons are used to kill and terrorize Palestinians, Lebanese and Egyptians not to mention in recent years Americans involvement in many proxy wars in south America and Africa. The nations motto is "In God we trust" and it has a majority Christian population. Do we suddenly say all Christians are hateful and warmongering, I don't think so. This is because we know of the peaceful side of the religion that the majority of Christians adhere to. So to come out and imply that Islam is not a peaceful religion that just wants to be extremist and not get on with people is pure idiocy.

Get out the house, go and engage some Muslims in human interaction, read a bit more about the religion and about the history of modern conflicts around the world and hopefully you will see that what you are saying is wrong and you might gain a bit of empathy towards the faith and the people who follow it.

I disagree with all the religions, I don't think any of them are the right way to go for human evolution but what you are saying is offensive to your progression as a conscious mind. It is ignorance.

No, you did not call my emotion correctly. Fear, I've been close to death multiple times. Pain, I've been tortured, pushed through a wall twice, hit over the head with a 2 X 4 and cut from navel to __ twice and up 2-1/2 hours afterwards, raped among other things I cannot mention on ATS.

People will argue here if one religion is more violent than another, and those who look through Christian colored glasses will of course agree with you and agree that Muslims need to be exterminated. The Muslim colored glasses (green of course) will do the same for the other side.

The funny thing is, to those of us on the outside who think religion is nothing but BS and a way to control the weak minded, you all look identical. All your religions and all your gods are violent, and all your preachers are hypocrites.

Is Islam violent? Just as much as Christianity.
