Here is some history : Battle of Blair Mountain

This was back when unionizing was against the wishes of the elites. Before they learned how to infiltrate and take it over for their own purposes.

Look at what happened, read that wiki.

If we really sought for reasonable conditions, this is what the result will most likely be. Actual violence.

Notice how all of these unions go on without any battles or bloodshed? That's probably because they are fake. They aren't actually trying to stand up to their boss and demand concessions.

Did you hear what Henry Ford used to do to his employees?
You should read this book:
The Flivver King
by Upton Sinclair.

It is very revealing about how sick and twisted our history really is.
Yeah back in those "good old days"....

I'm not a Republican. Both Parties are bad. I do like Walker however, who appears to be a genuine leader. He took bold action and got good results. If he were a Democrat and did the same, I'd say the same.

Not being a lapdog to a Party leaves me free to judge each person individually instead of having to vote for someone simply because they have the appropriate "D" or "R" after their name.

I am opposed to corruption as in our faces as that exhibited by the Unions these days. They literally buy politicians and tell them what to do. They are opposed to a secret ballot which means they oppose Freedom of Choice. People who don't want to be members are forced to join and that was proven by all of this.

The first Union Propagandist I saw today tried to say the people voted for Walker but did not really mean it, so it does not matter. Sadly the interviewer was not very savvy and failed to ask why then, given the choice, did over half of their members quit voluntarily? But then that would have given him no choice to do anything but dream up a new lie. He was clearly shaken by this, so shaken he could not dream up a semi-credible statement to defend the Unions.

Until the D's and R's learn to work together towards a common goal, we are in trouble. This Administration, the most divisive in my lifetime, has done a lot of damage. Among my Peers I'm seeing those who supported him no longer do so. Even they see the damage this person has done. Obama is tearing the country apart.

I don't much care anymore if a person is a Democrat or a Republican as I've been both; I care what they do.

Your stuck in the past. My own Father who would have been 101 this year, was a founding member of two Unions. When he died the Union found a loophole to deny my Mother and I the death benefits; I was still a minor. He went to his grave thinking his beloved Union had his back and they screwed him after he literally died on the job.

He would not approve of the Unions as they are now at all. The difference is he would have been picketing his own Union. He watched two of his best freinds die in Utah's version of the Coal Wars, killed by Strike Breakers.

It's a new time now and the game has changed. Now the Unions are just corrupt political organizations who dictate to their members instead of representing them. Most non-Union work pays as well or better than Union work does. Some non-Union even has better benefits.

The fact the Unions are opposed to a secret ballot should alert everyone this is not your Grandfathers Union. These are radical Marxists who have taken over the Unions.

Rather than the Union opposing the corporation as is portrayed, I would have to say that the Unions haven't really opposed the elite ownership in a hundred years.

Instead, I believer t the union is a tool used by those elites to control the workers, and regulate their wages etc to

Well I would suggest you examine the funding in this very election

A couple of elite donors and big money bundlers out boxed the

Unions 7/1. They have also won the battle of perception, but I ask

You, does that mean the "good guys" won? The elites won in

This case, but are they the good guys? The unions are small

Potatoes compared to the hands who tweaked this battle, those

Hands are "masters of the universe" - I understand your post,

Democrats like President Bill Clinton can work with the Republicans. He did.

Socialist nuts like President Obama are like aliens from other planets.

Obama doesn't want to work together. Obama wants to be a dictator.

He thinks he knows best and that we should all just agree with him.

Bingo!!!

They are radical Marxists who have taken over the Unions.

Thankfully, their power is winding down and Obama is hiding under his desk.

When you crush the unions, the quality of life declines. Unions are largely responsible for good schools, roads, and infrastructure. Take away the unions and everyone suffers except for the elite. Life goes merrily along for them and they revel in the power differential.

That's odd.

Why has the quality of life gotten better over the last 18 months?

Gov. Scott Walker must be doing something right.

Really? Why is Americas entire Infrastructure,rated a D- ?
Why are we rated "average" in education ?

Unions have eaten themselves out of Jobs, and perks. Period.

Obama didn't even show his face in Wisconsin,to back the Democrats running.

"Nope and Strange",should be his new slogan.........

It would be better if he kept his nose out of States altogether, like voter ID laws and such.
